Excellent place x staff so helpful and friendly rooms clean x would differently stay again x

Nice little place. Rooms are a good size but reception is run from the pub next door so is subject to their opening hours and how busy the bar is when you get there. Problem with the toilet. A stuck valve meant that water kept running through the system and the cistern was constantly topping up. Not very eco, and very noisy through the night.

Stay was okay. I did have the balcony room, however the room is pretty standard. The shower head has seen better days, however bed was comfy and air conditioning worked great for this type of weather.

The room in general was good but the carpets are disgusting in the room and hallways. Breakfast was expensive and poor quality, especially the sausages.

Trip away with my daughter and also booked a "football table" in the joining Parsons Collar to watch England play. Fantastic atmosphere, excellent table service, great food and England won so perfect evening 😅. Room was clean in most parts although carpet was a little grubby.Girls on reception were lovely and very friendly.

It was a nice room although walls and carpet were stained. Food in the adjoining restaurant was good at night time, but breakfast really overpriced so didnt bother the second day. Quite comfortable stay quiet rooms.

The room was nicely laid out and impeccably clean, though the bed was narrow. Having reception in the adjacent hotel ws weird and the staff were offhand.

Rooms were spotless, bed really comfortable, easy check in. Staff really helpful. Lovely attached restaurant and pub definately recommend

The rooms are all modern with new bathrooms, convenient plug points and superfast WIFI. I stayed in Room 39 on the 1st floor without any issues to report. I'll be back over the next few weeks and have multiple trips booked here - rooms are to a consistently better level than the Hotel & Spa (same chain) situated next to the Lodge - the Lodge is also cheaper :)

Good price for location & area. Simple lodge managed from the pub/bar next door. fairly clean with parking outside.

Staff courteous. Room good and clean. Convenient for shops.

No hotel reception but check in and out is in the pub which is right next door. Very friendly staff.

Overall really happy with my stay. I travel a lot and stay in many location. The price was very competative to be fair so expected a Prem Inn standard. Far from it!. Lovely rooms, bright, modern and well equipped. Good location for onward travel. I never used the adjoining Spa services but did eat in the FYR restaurant which was also very good. All staff we great less the young lad on reception who could barely smile on checking out the next morning but overall would 100% use the hotel again if in the area.

Requested, two separate singles, got given a double instead despite notes left in the booking. Apparently Expedia sometimes fail to pass over the notes of the booking & they never received this detail.

Such a lovely stay would definitely stay again

I booked a balcony as i was celebrating my anniversay. Planned romantic champagne etc set up on balcony. Got there and was given a ground floor room. Ruined my plans. Very disappointed!

Nice modern interior, great for a stopover before cruuse. Only small criticism, the bed was a normal double. Seems small wgen used to hotels (and home) with king size beds.

The dust under the bed was the worst I’ve ever seen. I have pictures. A full refund was granted but we have to ask Expedia to reimburse us direct. Please send me a link for this

Massive room, really clean and comfy beds.

It was a lovely area very rural! The room was clean and perfectly equipped! Only down side was the bed was only a standard double and when you are used to a king it was very cosy The huge plus side to this is the staff they were lovely and couldn’t do more for you!

Stayed for one night, very clean, comfortable stylish room. It was very convenient for the Whiteley Shopping Centre. The layout of the room was practical with some nice features including the heated bathroom mirror. The only problem we had was it was too hot at night, and could not reduce the heating sufficiently. The shower was very good, although from an economical point of view used alot of water. We would be happy to stay here again.

Handy pub next door, pretty good value for money overall

Had an overnight work stay - was able to check in just after 3pm but didn’t get to return to the hotel until around 3am (hence the check in earlier). Great facilities and helpful team as per previous visits.

A trip to visit family nearby. I know the hotel and sister hotel across the car park very well, having lived and stayed in the area for many years and so a go to hotel if you want a clean, fresh and comfortable room. We had to wait to be checked in as staff not available at first ( a little disappointing after a long journey.!) but eventually booked in without issue. It’s a Staff free hotel but easily navigated and they are on call next door in pub if needed. We would return and use hotel more but it only has showers and no bath. Any longer than a 1 night stay my wife would insist on a room with a bath. So we use sister hotel across car park more. But very good stay for 1 night or for one on business.

Comparable to a premier inn. Very quiet room. Shower powerful and great massage function. Good to channels. Nice to have a kettle as could use my own tea bag. Nice choc cookie too. Tired looking, stains on the carpet and chairs didn’t want to sit on them . very basic bathroom only cheap handwash and shower gel but took my own. Bed quite soft but ok. Sheets clean. Fine for 1 night but wouldn’t want to stay longer. Only chose this hotel as I needed to be close by and didn’t need breakfast.

Service and food is good. Rooms are not cleaned properly. Rugs stained and dirty. Very basic soap and bathroom had a dirty coffee mug in it. Toilet roll holder falling off. Rooms very basic.
