Very good location pool is very nice and staff. The property itself needs to be renovated

Property in very poor conditions. Outdated, poor maintenance, missing toiletries and not clean (specially the kitchen drawers). And, on top of that, they allow homeless people to join for breakfast. Had to leave the hotel earlier. Glad that Expedia helped me get a refund of the remainder days.

Excellent location close to an upscale shopping neighbourhood with several dining options nearby. All rooms are suites with a bedroom and a living-room / kitchenette including a microwave and a large refrigerator, giving you the option of cooking your own meals.
The downside of this hotel is that it is in dire need of refurbishing: we had water leakages in the toilet connection to the wall, and on the sink faucets. The walls, floor and furniture show signs of wear and tear. Management is busy in a slow refurbishing project, renovating one room at a time, which accounts for some noise during the day if you happen to be staying close to that room. If you are lucky, you might get one of the renovated rooms. Mind you: we had one of those, but still had the plumbing issues described above.
Service is irregular: some people were helpful, others rude. Apparently they've had little training.
The WiFi signal is weak and inconsistent in most rooms (we heard other guests also complaining). Staff have no clue about how to handle it.
Breakfast is varied but of poor quality: the fruit, cheese, cold cuts and baked products were all of worse quality compared to other hotels we stayed at in Brazil.
The hotel restaurant is much better quality at lunchtime, when it becomes busy with clients working close by; they serve a good buffet including grilled meats and vegetables.

Overral cleaning bad, the apartment we stayed poor maintenance like beat up floors, loose toilet , peeling paint,
dirty hallways, staff are super good and also good breakfast. Well located place close to everything.

The staff at front desk was awesome.
Housekeeping... leave extra toilet paper will you!?!
Also, one towel per adult is often not enough. Also you do need to leave new soap and shampoo everyday yes.
Breakfast is military time, if you delay you don’t eat. :|

Nice safe neighborhood with food options. Helpful and nice staff, great room with kitchen are and lounge. Breakfast could have had more vegan options, though this is more of a typical thing for this country, rather than hotel specific. I was here on business, and had a great stay. Would come back.

This is my third stay in this hotel and probably I will return there when staying in P.Alegre. I had a very good time and my only complaint is that took 10 days for fixing a problem with the electronic keycard that allow opening the door room. For those who don’t know: Laghetto Vertice has an excellent location, the breakfast is wonderful, it is very clean, the room is absolutely comfortable and the personnel is very attentive

Hotel Laghetto Vertice Manhattan is located in a very clean and high-class area of Porto Alegre. There are many nice bars and restaurants nearby. I had a short stay there and enjoyed it pretty much. The Deluxe-Room had a nice living room with sofa, TV and kitchen and a separate suite with bedroom and bathroom. Facilities are definitely not new, but everything was clean and fully functional. Minor complaints about the shower, which had very low water pressure, and the pillows, which were not of the expected quality for such a hotel.

It is a good hotel and well located.Our room was spacious,comfortable and clean with a balcony. Breakfast is good the only bad thing was the egg omelet it was cold.

This hotel smell bad, the room curtians were very dirty, overall it didnt look clean at all. I couldnt shower.

restaurant was not working fully because of gas strikes and protests on the streets...only the room service menu was available

There where fungus and hairs in the bathroom, under the bed full of dirt, they do not clean the rooms nor they care.
The response to the complaint was: on your checkout wright you comments, the hair still there when we left 4 days later.
Stay away from this filthy place,
Foreigners not welcome here.

I still have my money on the maid. I had a bunch of $$ and credit card sitting on the desk and left the room. Saw the maid and asked her to clean my room. When I came back, I went right to bed and to sleep. In the morning when I woke up and was packing noticed I do not have my CC and $$ and looked all over and remembered the last time I saw it was on the desk. Had no proof. So, keep your $$ to yourself just to be safe. or keep it in the safe.

It was a nice friendly hotel with reasonable prices close to many restaurants. My favorite restaurant there was Bar do Gomes and make sure to ask for Jeronomo as your waiter.

It is my second time here, before it was another chain Hotel, the chance is a little perceived on the quality of the Food at the Restaurant, not at the morning coffee, which is very good.
People make you feel at home with their attention.

I would add to the option knowing the case they have a certain type of kitchenette, more inventory like pans to cook, and cookware to enable users to be able to take more advantage of this, for example buy food or reheat food bought at the Restaurant.
