Good central location and very clean. Friendly service and a decent buffet breakfast included. Very close to bars and clubs, so may be too noisy for some. I can't say that it bothered me too much as didn't use the earplugs provided.

It was lovely staying in a standard double bedroom with a balcony that offered a partial view of St. George's Bay. The room size was more than enough, and it had all the basic amenities listed in the description. We loved how the housekeeping staff made sure our room was tidy and clean almost every day, except when we asked for privacy. The only thing we had a slight difficulty with was the shower area. There was no door, and water splashed outside the shower area, but we managed to place the bathroom mat outside the shower area as a makeshift solution. Breakfast was scrumptious, and we were thrilled to find vegetarian sausages as an alternative to meat. We couldn't resist the fresh and delicious pastries either. Location-wise, it was perfect for us, even though the area was known for its nightlife and party atmosphere. The rooms had sound-absorbing doors, which meant that we could rest peacefully without being disturbed by any noise from outside, especially at night. All in all, our stay was fantastic and unforgettable.

This hotel is lovely and clean and very central, however the area is very noisy and more suited to the younger generation.

Great hotel, facilities and service. However, the fact that ear plugs are left on the bedside table says it all. The hotel is adjacent to THE Paceville nightclub (inc. LGBTQ) scene with very loud music only stopping at 4am. There is also a new Hyatt hotel being built opposite, causing noise and dust, and lots more building around the St Georges Bay area.

The sound insulation (in the room) was not so good. Noise from the revellers at night was rather loud.

When a room provides complimentary earplugs, its a bad sign. Very noisy area. Loud music could be heard till way past midnight. On the positive side, Location is great, Room is a nice size, its clean, great rooftop bar area.

The Holiday Inn is a perfect place to base your trip, easy to get to Valletta, Mdina, staff friendly and free breakfast and gym is a bonus. Not a lot to do in the area unless you are into bars or clubbing.

Cleanliness is very good, the breakfast is amazing, thank you to the manager Saviour Mifsud, very friendly and accommodating. Staff are very friendly. Our room is always clean and tidy.

I enjoyed my stay here. I like that the location was convenient to the bus stop, food places, mall and taxi. The breakfast option was good and the staff were friendly. I’d definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay at the holiday inn Malta ! The staff that works there is amazing! Had the pleasure in meeting staff member Saviour during breakfast! He is a humble and kind person! Worked hard during the breakfast session cleaning tables and sharing knowledge about Malta and its culture! Restaurant has lovely amenities and is in the perfect location! Rooms are huge and well kept ! Gym is huge as well as the pool ! Hotel is beautiful and extremely large and offers excellent views from the top floor where we checked in ! Love my stay and will be back again soon ! Thanks for a wonderful stay at your hotel ! Mr , boodoo !

Huge room with a good price, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good enough. Great that customers have access to the InterConti wellness facilities (where I recommend to find a way to cover the floor around the pool and bathroom as it is very slippery). The next door bar area is quite noisy and you can hear the music beat in your room (hence the ear plugs in the room for the guest). Overall good stay!

Fantastic stay and great having use of intercontinental facilities as the gym and pool were excellent. In the middle of all the action but only down side is if you have a balcony room despite double patio doors you can still hear the partying, so maybe get a room in a quieter part of the hotel. Staff were really helpful and although check in was 3pm and i arrived at 10.30 my room was available and also got later check out when I left

A very contemporary hotel with a very polite and helpful staff. The rooms are basic, but clean with all the amenities you'd expect in a modern establishment.The real bonus is the complimentary use of the spa and pool in the adjoining Intercontinental. I found the location ideal, but there are a lot of bars/clubs close buy, so if you're looking for a more relaxing environment you might want to look at alternatives. For myself as a solo traveller, i had a great time.

It was honestly the best thing about my visit in Malta. Should i return to Malta would definitely pick this hotel as its close to everything has good breakafast options, excellent cleaning and super smart overall.

Hotel was very nice but the area is extremely noisy. Right behind a nightclub playing music from 8pm to about 3am. Loads of screaming and shouting as well. Huge amounts of building work going on as well which starts before 8am. Even with earplugs listening to podcasts I could still clearly hear everything.
