Overall it was a nice place, couple minor issues were that the breakfast starts at 8:00 am we needed to check out at 7:30 to catch our flight but the host refused to serve the breakfast before 8:00. The sofa bed was not too comfy but its ok. Beside that it was nice

Beautiful property near everything easy walk to downtown Sorrento the staff treat you like they’re your family. amazing breakfast. Near the train station if you want to go to Pompeii. or downtown Sorrento great drive from here to Positano or Amalfi coast I’ll stay here again

We had a lovely stay at Villa Iolanda. Breakfast was.fantasric with homemade cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, crostinis, coffee, and fresh eggs made to order. We were able to add the son on WhatsApp and he helped us with information on the train, supermarket, and beach shuttle. Their little Frenchie is absolutely adorable! The room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious with a nice balcony to watch the sunsets. The Villa is gated, so you geely safe leaving your belongings if you are gone for the day. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend Piano di Sorrento over Sorrento for more of a rustic vacation. Much more affordable than Sorrento, walkable, the main streets aren't as busy and we felt very safe at all times of the day and night.

Best Sstay we had in all of Italy! Beautiful hotel and family! The breakfast was amazing! The room and view was beautiful and our hosts made us feel like family. I will definitely recommend you stay here! The train station Piano is a short walk and will take you to Sorrento port where you can buy ferry tickets to Amalfi, Capri Positano and Napoli. You can also go to and come from Napoli on the Piano Train Station. Thank you again to our amazing hosts at Hotel Iolanda!

This was mine and my partners first stay on our 2 week travel around Italy, this place made the start of the trip, it’s a very easy check in, comfy, clean and modern with very good AC! Hats off to Salvatore and the rest of his family for being great hosts! The included breakfast was a massive bonus too! I would return 100%

Salvatore and his family were amazing and the place was great! Accessible, yet quiet respite from nearby Sorrento. My son and I had a wonderful time.

The host was amazing and friendly although a very late check in 21:30, the brackfat was very very good.

fantastic room, very clean and tidy. Room was nicely decorated. The bed was memory foam and was very comfortable, we slept extremely well. There was air con hot and cold so you could adjust the temperature. Salvatore and his mother were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast, and the little details such as the biscuits provided on arrival, free parking

A very well located and comfortable stay, highly recommend to stay out of Sorrento main town if you are driving as this place has parking and is 2 minutes walk to the train. The train costs 1.3 euro each way into sorrento main town in 5 minutes. Only complaint is the show is pretty poor and soaks the floor when used.

Excellent location for visiting the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. The family which owns Villa Iolanda are very friendly and anxious to be of help while respecting our privacy at the same time. A very generous breakfast was offered each morning which included many homemade cakes and vegetables from their garden.

We had such a lovely stay at Villa Iolanda! The room was clean and stylish and Salvatore was always available to help and offered lots of great local tips and restaurant recommendations. His mother Teresa also baked amazing homemade cakes for breakfast that we ate outside on the terrace each morning. Such a beautiful place, would definitely recommend!

Amazing, so much to see. Accommodation clean and in excellent condition. Salvador and Theresa were the perfect host, nothing a problem, good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Out of Sorrento, more of a residential town with small port and beach, not busy, but one road from train station, only two stops from Sorrento town centre with bars,shops and restaurants. If you prefer to experience the buzz of Sorrento with the combination of a quieter feel resort, these apartments are the perfect base.

This beautiful villa with great views is situated in a quiet neighborhood just a few short train stops from Sorrento. Salvatore and his Mother were fantastic hosts, serving great breakfasts right to our room! The nearby Antica Cantina is certainly one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! The hotel is family owned and operated, and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home! The gated courtyard has a lovely garden, and offers easy parking. I would highly recommend Villa lolanda to anyone!

The villa is ideally located, in a residential area, two train stops away from Sorrento (approx a 5 min train journey) and the train station itself is 5 mins away (but there is absolutely no sound of trains from the villa). Piano di Sorrento is a quiet suburb, relative to Sorrento, but has a number of shops and some great restaurants within a 5-10 min walk. It was a great base to travel on day trips to Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum without the need to rent a car. (Coach trips start from Sorrento.) The villa itself (with 4 bedrooms) is only two years old and is well appointed. Rooms were cleaned, towels replaced and beds made, every day, The room was light and airy and it was nice to have a balcony to sit out on (there was also a nice communal outside terrace). Included in the price is parking, which is handy if you are renting a car ( the villa is in a gated area.) The breakfast (included in the price) is fantastic and really sets you up for the day. As well as a choice of cereals, yoghurts, rolls, hams and cheese, there was a selection of homemade cakes/pastries - Teresa makes wonderful cakes (she should really open a bakery)!!! A short, and reasonably priced, menu is available (pasta, risotto, sandwiches) should you wish to eat at the villa, as an alternative to going out. The hospitality provided by Salvatore and Teresa, was the best I have experienced anywhere I have stayed.

Salvatore and his mum were perfect hosts. Very modern room. We felt like home as Salvatore is helpful with every information one could need and his mum serves a wonderful breakfast with homemade cakes and fresh orange juice from the own garden. All the best Marc and Anja

We could not have asked for anything better. Terese and Salvetorie were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and always more than enough. We cannot recommend it highly enough. This is the standard all hotels should aspire to.

Lovely family run Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Really made you feel welcome. Modern and clean. Great breakfast with lots of homemade cakes. We stayed 5 nights in the Red room which had a lovely view but no terrace so we ate our breakfast in the garden. Accommodation is accessible all day as well as tea, coffee and cake. They even sourced some English Breakfast tea especially for me! Located less than 10 minute walk to Piano station for trains to Sorrento, Pompei and Naples. Much quieter than Sorrento with small waterfront area and shopping in the town centre.

Villa Iolanda is an amazing B&B, we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our time so much. They are 5mins from the station and have a parking bay for car rentals, so the transport is great. The room was fantastic, very clean, very comfortable, stylish and modern, we felt right at home. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruits, cereals, fresh bread, prosciutto, salami cheese, and the best selection of homemade cakes, along with fruit juices and cappuccinos. During our stay they went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time, Salvatore was always on hand to tell us how to get around, where to go, where to eat and what to see. I cant recommend this place enough, its the perfect place to explore the Amalfi Coast or the Bay of Naples.

Everything single detail about this villa is absolutely perfect. From the moment you drive into the complimentary gated parking area and are greeted by the owner. The breakfast in the morning was home made fresh daily and we were able to enjoy it on our private terrace looking out over Sorrento. I could not have asked more from this Villa. It was exceptional!
