We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful country house

We experienced a comfortable stay ( although the weather was mixed) and found the property a good centre for exploring, walking, surfing and birdwatching.

Nice house, very well equipped. Kids and parents enjoyed the pool. Beds look older in the the photos than they actually are. We had great holidays - a perfect location for two families.

This property is a true gem. It's close enough to everything you might want to see and do, still a short trip away from the touristic hotspots. You can live like a villager and stroll up to the local cafe for your daily bread or take the car 10 mins to the medieval village of Obidos with daily shows and and loads of restaurants. We stayed 2 families with 2 kids each and the layout of the house was perfect. There's even a second smaller kitchen in the upper house if you want more privacy. The pool area is great with heated water and relaxing areas both in the shadow (under roof) and in the sun. We usually spent half the day in the pool and the other half by one of the amazing beaches nearby. For sport activities there are running and biking trails all around the lagoon and there's also a wind- and kitesurfing opportunities there. An extra plus for the super cool design eco hotel and restaurant just across the street called Rio do Prado. They serve great food and amazing drinks. We will definately be back!

This big house is located at the very end of a small rural village with great views over the lagoon. All around are orange trees, lemon trees, apple trees and vineyards. It has a big kitchen (actually two) with everything you need. The weather was great during our stay but if not there's a i big living room space with TV and DVD player. The kids especially enjoyed the heated pool and there's an outdoor shower. We had some issues with the shower head but the manager was there the same day and fixed it right away. Highly recommended!
