This property was so well-prepared for guests. Not only was everything we might need thoughtfully provided, like snacks, water, an extra toothbrush, toiletries, etc., the house was furnished and decorated beautifully. It was a fantastic stay and we would definitely stay again.

The Fairview House was central to our visit to see our grandson graduate from boot camp, on Friday the 7th of June. First impressions, a quiet cul de sac location in a nice section of Columbus, excellent air conditioning system, and sparkling clean throughout. The amenities were 1st Class and very thoughtful, the kitchen complete and ready for use, and the screened in porch was comfortable and in use every day.
Not having to worry about anything allowed us to have a stress free visit.
Thank you so much for allowing us to experience Georgia in a perfect setting.

Do not hesitate one second about renting this amazing house! Robert communicates so well, very responsive to VRBO messages. We had previously stayed for our son's Turning Green ceremony and then came back for the Turning Blue and Graduation from Infantry. This last time the house was decorated with Christmas decor. It feels like a true home when you are there. The screened in porch and back yard are wonderful. The house doesn't need anything else. If I needed to return to Columbus, I would rent this house in a second! Thanks Robert :)

Our family loved this property. So roomy, we never felt like we were on top of each other. We really enjoyed the little personal touches, such as the basket of goodies in the kitchen and the toiletries in the bathrooms.
If we ever come to Columbus again, we will try to rent this place again!!

Stayed here with family for my son's Turning Green Ceremony. House was perfect and had everything you could want, plus great extras. (coffee, etc) Neighborhood was quiet and safe, and location was ideal. 20 minutes to base, and seemingly 10-15 minutes from everything else we were interested in. Host communication/accommodation was great. (we added an extra day after the original booking) Would definitely stay here again for future trips to the area.

We were in Columbus, GA for our son's Turning Blue ceremony and graduation at Ft. Moore. The 3 bedrooms were perfect for us, my daughter-in-law and older son. The house was clean and host left special touches including a basket of snacks that we were all grateful for upon arrival.

The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac in between Fort Moore & Columbus. That made it very convenient to get our soldier & enjoy the weekend with him. The house is clean & comfortable. Everything is there, we didn't miss anything. Robert & Merissa are easy to work & communicate with. They were very gracious in assiting me to extend our stay, not once, but twice in order to take full benefit of our son's free time off of base. We hope to stay again in January for Turning Blue & Graduation!

Do not pass over this location. We were visiting for our son's Turning Green ceremony. He wanted us to bring the dogs and this is a perfect location. It is a very quiet cul de sac. The screened in porch was incredible for drinking coffee in the morning. I cooked my son's 3 favorite meals and everything I needed as far as utensils and cooking supplies were there. It is spotless, decorated in such a calm manner, and Robert is excellent to work with. Loved it so much we are returning in December for the graduation ceremonies. Thank you Robert!

This home met all our needs. We were in town for 4 days to attend turning green graduation for our grandson. He had a 48 hour pass afterwards and this house was perfect for us all to share meals and time together.
The beds were very comfortable and the layout of the home was great for our family .
We loved the screened in porch too.
Kitchen had all the supplies that we needed .
Close to Fort Moore too !

Excellent Property!! I highly recommend this owner and their property. We stayed here for my sons turning green and family weekend. It was perfect. We were about 15 mins from Fort Moore and close to several activities for our family. The owners had several extras for us.

We came to Columbus for my son’s Turning Green ceremony and this house was perfect for the trip! It was close to his base and it provided a great place for all of us to hangout and relax. It was clean and cozy and they had everything we needed there. The owners were very accommodating and were readily available to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be staying here anytime we come back to

This place is immaculately clean! Two older couples and one goofy Beagle met here for a mini vacation. So nice to arrive from a long day in the car to find the lights on and snacks waiting. We loved the extra little touches that made it feel like home. Very easy check-in.

We had a most enjoyable 50th Anniversary trip to Georgia and the Columbus area.
This nicely furnished and fully supplied home provided a great place to rest, relax and recoup during our sightseeing trip.
It is a convenient location for day trips to The Little White House, Andersonville/Plains area and the not to be missed Providence Canyon Park!
Robert and Melanie were wonderful hosts. They responded to all questions and provided extra attention to make us feel special on our special anniversary!

We usually stay at hotels for a 3 or 4 day excursion. But, this time we tried vrbo with Robert and Melanie. We had a great time. And we loved the location and it was very clean and accommodating. Loved being out away from the crowds and had more amenities as s well. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend any property that Robert and Melanie own. The hosts have a lovely, we’ll kept home, with lots of space for spreading out if needed. New furnishings throughout. Hosts are very quick to respond if you have any questions. Would certainly stay again.

This property was absolutely wonderful. Hosts were very responsive when we had a question. We were the first guests to stay since property was listed with VRBO. You won’t be disappointed. Will definitely try to book here again for our next trip to see our son’s graduation.
