Truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. Very clean and unique decor in every room. Location was perfect in relation to the town shops and restaurants. Friendly staff.

Dave and Gabby have a beautiful property and were amazing hosts! Our room was absolutely perfect and the food was delicious! We enjoyed the easy access to walks around the village and Dave provided much useful information about the area and suggestions on other areas to explore in Wales, Can’t wait to stay again on our next visit!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dave's place in Betws-y-Coed. Dave was a lovely host with wonderful recommendations for food spots and hikes nearby. Such a perfect location. The room was immaculately clean with such a cozy vibe, and the breakfast options each morning were delightful. Recommend highly and would absolutely return!

An amazing stay. The house was quaint and the room we had was excellent. This is a bed and breakfast. Very nicely curated. The breakfast we had daily was extra ordinary. Loved being here!!

My room in the attic was spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was very spacious.

Beautiful location with easy walking access to the village. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options and the dining area is lovely. We were warmly received and enjoyed conversation with our host. The room was comfortable and clean but could use a second chair.

The guest house was comfortable, great facilities and a really lovely setting. The team were friendly and breakfast delicious.

Very welcoming host and lovely guest house made our weekend away a fantastic break. The rooms are clean with great shower and really comfy bed. Decent choice of food for breakfast and good quality. We will definitely stay again as so handy for a base to explore around North Wales or just around Betws-Y-Coed.

I loved my stay at this gorgeous b and b. Immaculately clean, updated, comfortable, quiet. The room had touches like robe, hot water bottle, soap/shampoo/conditioner. Host David was kind and helpful for hike/bus suggestions. I didn’t meet his wife as she was in the kitchen cooking divine FULL breakfast. It’s walkable from train station, and super close to bus stop on main road. The village is lovely, the hIking great. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay, David came to meet us on arrival and is the perfect host and was very knowledgeable about walks and other things in the local areas which was perfect for us with it being a fairly short trip. The area is lovely as is the accommodation and we were made to feel most welcome. I should also mention the breakfast which was plentiful and lovely especially the home made baked beans and the home made granola both of which were made by David's wife (apologies I've forgotten her name)

If you like excellent service and great breakfasts, this is the place for you. Dave is the consumate host and nothing is ever too much trouble. He is very knowledgable about places to visit and good walks to do. He is friendly and good natured, checking you have all you need, without ever being intrusive. His partner, Gabby cooks delicious breakfasts and is responsible for the lovely cottage-like feel of the whole place. Betws y Coed is a great location from which to visit so many places in Wales - so this guest house is ideally situated. It is clean and well maintained with a top hygeine rating. There is parking at the back and even though the guest house is near the river and the bridge, it is surrounded by trees which allow for tranquility, peace and quiet. There are plenty of eating options within walking distance for evening meals etc. TV in rooms and excellent WiFi. There are plenty of places to eat nearby but it is advisable to book early because in high season there may be queues. Anyone thinking of running a guest house should visit here and see how it is done. Thank you Dave and Gabby, my wife and I had a wonderful stay. We will return!! Nick and San

A lovely place to stay

I really enjoyed my stay there, the room was very nice and clean, even slippers and dressing gown were provided, the breakfast was amazing and the host, Dave, was extreamly nice. There was nothing else I could have wished for. Will definitely go back there

This trip was a reset and recharge for me and the first thing you noice about this place is as soon as you walk in the door you feel at home. Its cosy and warm. I have so many great things to say about this place..i cant fault it. Dave was so welcoming, friendly, informative and remembers your name! Which is rare in hotels, its those little personal touches that maklde me feel i made the right choice in staying here 🙂. Room was comfortable and cosy, great views. Breakfast selection was amazing..the Welsh breakfast will keep you going for the day. Right outside you are in the perfect location to start the local hikes, restaurants are 5 mins away..sherpa bus is 5-6mins away to take you to snowdon. You will definantly feel much more relaxed and recharged after staying here. You will not regret booking here. Dave and Gabby have an amazing property. This place is a blessing and i wish them all the success.

A superb stay. We had 3 rooms. The breakfasts are brilliant, and the service is excellent and so friendly. Rooms so clean and well equipped. Have stayed here for the last 10 years, I just wished we lived closer. So much to do locally and our host can recommend the type and best local places to dine and have coffee stops.

Just like home from home. Clean, comfortable and a lovely breakfast. Close by for Snowdonia and plenty of walks. Owner Dave and his wife Gabby very welcoming with lots os knowledge about the area.

Warm,c friendly and welcoming host. Rooms v clean and to a high standard. Room 8 had stunning views to wake up to in the morning. Breakfast had a great selection and nothing was too much trouble. We'll be back again. Thanks Dave😊

Perfect location within walking distance to everything and very quiet in the evenings for a good nights sleep. Very comfortable rooms and bed. Excellent breakfast choices. Everything you need is provided for your stay, even slippers! This was our second stay here and we will definitely be returning again.

Such an amazing weekend, will be definitely booking to stay again at summerhill , the owners could not do enough for us ,we have already recommended the guest house to numerous friends for them to stay, Wish we could of stayed longer !

This was our first visit to Betsw-y-coed. We had an excellent stay at Summer hills. Loved the room on 2nd floor with great bathroom, view from the room was also amazing. Dave the host waa very welcoming. Had great breakfast every morning. We stayed for 3 nights. Overall a successful trip, thanks to Summer hill.

Fantastic stay with my Girlfriend. had a river view room which was very well decorated, clean and extremely comfortable. self check in was easy, breakfast was fantastic not just your usual fried food but some really nice alternatives. David the Host was also great. I would definitely stay here again.
