This is the most delightful, charming boutique hotel! Location is really convenient to everything. The staff is friendly and kind. Has a warm, cozy ambiance. Loved staying here! Highly recommend!

Easy self check in,off street parking.Fresh real milk in fridge- enough for several hot drinks.Also able to make hot drinks in lounge/breakfast area.Fresh fruit available in breakfast area at all times.Plenty of tourist information available and good recommendations for places to eat.Comfortable lounges for sitting to chat, read in conservatory.Breakfast tray prepared and left in dining area- boiled eggs,toast,brewed coffee and pots of tea prepared by staff in morning.

The Florance is my accommodation of choice in Launceston. It's a beautiful building, and the way it is operated is calming, efficient and thoughtful. I can walk from here to multiple places around the city, while feeling the quiet nest is waiting for me.

What a great place to stay. A beautiful old building that has been tastefully restored and added on to. Our room was very comfortable with nice views across city park. Breakfast each morning was very nice. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of most things to do and places to eat.

We loved the charm of the grand old house which had been so thoughtfully renovated. Everything was neat, functional & stylish! Breakfast in the conservatory was delicious & generous. We will recommend this accommodation.

The property was very nice and the staff were lovely. We stayed at the front of the house and the road noise was a small problem. We had a great stay.

I absolutely loved staying at the Florence, the property is gorgeous, renovated old Victorian mansion. If you live green spaces like me, the Florence has such lovely garden and green atmosphere. Very comfortable bedrooms, loved the breakfast and close to shops, restaurants and the park

Grand old house beautifully restored yet very homely and welcoming

The Florance Hotel is the perfect stay in Launceston. Pretty location opposite the City Park and close to many other key locations. The interior of the Florance Hotel is beautiful and has a homey feel to it. Complementary breakfast and food was helpful while travelling. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed a night the previous week. Had a lovely room (no 5). Stayed week later in a small room with no window other than keeping small bathroom door open (no. 10). disappointing after the first time we stayed. Conservatory is lovely and light for relaxing and breakfast. Staff very pleasant. Liked the location across from park.

Our unit 5 didn't habe a view and felt a bit unsecure with people walking past the window. Would love to stay again but not that room

Parking was abundant and right behind the property and the owners were fine with us staying there a few hours after check out which helped us no end! The check in is self- service and was fine but it would have been better if they had made it more clear you can’t go via the front which made it a bit of a faff with our luggage! Other than that room was simple and clean with a good shower, a bit of noise from upstairs but it was fine overall. Breakfast was lovely and served in the extension at the rear which has been decorated beautifully. The owners were really freindly too and gave us lots of tips on things to do around town. No complaints at all and would definitely stay here again - lovely little BnB!

The location is perfect and the owner was so helpful. The free parking and ability to walk to everything is great.

The Florence is a quaint, restored heritage home with several rooms. We arrived later in the evening and were provided with clear instructions for self-check in via email. There was coffee, tea, apples and bananas in the kitchen for guests to help themselves to and our stay included breakfast, however, our flight was at 6am the next morning so we did not have the opportunity to try it. The hotel is well located and walkable to downtown but just far enough outside where it was quiet. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean.
