If you like a well furnished B&B with excellent breakfast this maybe for you. However, if you are seeking somewhere that provides daily clean dry towels, clean cups, replaces used coffee pods, provides USB ports that are not tucked away in another room, and has an easy to use lighting system, then I would suggest you look somewhere else. Should you be unfortunate enough to visit this location, I would not recommend complaining, all that I got was a decades old cartoon character sent to me.

Wonderful B&B on a quiet street but close to the main square. Walkable to all the sites, shops and restaurants. Stayed here with our daughters - took the two rooms on the top floor. Lovely rooms, air conditioned, delicious breakfast and pleasant staff. Picture-perfect place right on the canal. Did NOT want to leave!! Loved Barabas in quaint, historic Bruges. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing all around. Gorgeous and centrally located. Delicious breakfast. Owner and staff make it most personal and family-like. Spacious family room with modern amenities and historic feel. Would love to come back!!!

We loved Barabas and would book again if returning to Bruges. Our host was warm, friendly, and helpful. Check-in was a breeze, and breakfast had enough choices to make everyone in our group happy. The location and setting are unbeatable. The garden beside the canal is lovely, and you are minutes from all the sites. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Bert.

Bert, the owner, was gracious and warmly invited us in to his extraordinary space on the canal. The rooms were large with beautiful exposed beams and comfortable beds. The breakfast they made for us was delicious and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Bruges.

Absolutely beautiful B&B. My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights. Bert, our host, was very friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean, the location is fabulous and the breakfast is amazing!!!!

we loved our stay at this b and b. the garden was delightful for the fantastic breakfast and at dusk for cocktails! the location is fantastic ( close enough to the main square but on a quiet narrow street.) cannot say enough great things. would book again in a heartbeat.

This is a B&B that I will return to again, but stay longer next time! It is in such a great location - close enough to the centre but in a quiet location. As a solo woman traveling, I felt safe at all times, even when walking at night. With it also being a private residence, there are no elevators like in a hotel. I stayed in a large suite on the second floor - I loved how large my room was, and especially loved that the bathtub and showier were separate. Breakfast was hotel worthy and felt like a tea service. I will definitely be back!

Our room (Fidele Cottage) was absolutely wonderful! With both the bedroom and the living room looking immediately down onto the Brugge canals, the view was lovely, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted. And the view of the property from the canals was the envy of every boat rider who passed, with many taking pictures of it. Breakfast was delicious and decadent. And the common areas are opulent. We can’t recommend Barabas enough.
