The breakfast was superb. Filled us up for the day. Wide variety of fruits, eggs, breads, cakes, meats, cheeses, yoghurts, coffee etc. Pool was lovely. Walk to town centre/ beach was about 15 mins which was perfect. Lovely víew of the sea from our room. Beach towels/ chairs/ umbrellas were available to take when needed. Staff very friendly and accomadating.

Excellent hot and cold choices at breakfast . Great selection of fresh fruits ,yoghurts (home made), cereals. Staff were so pleasant too. The Casa is situated in a tranquil leafy area . The pool area had great choice of lounging and seating, very modern. The views are SPECTACULAR as did our bedroom. 10/10

Having to leave .

We stayed in Casa Mercedes for a week and it was honestly the best hotel we have stayed in. Mercedes, her family and staff were very kind and helpful. The room with its spacious terrace and view of sea and mountains was like a dream. We felt really lucky to have found it and if we go to Nerja again we would definately go to Casa Mercedes for a second stay. The big bed was super comfy and the room lacked nothing. You could even borrow towels for the pool and for the beach. Excellent cleaning and I adored the little elephants folded from towels on arrival. One of the biggest pluses was also the breakfast - we were in heaven every morning! The area where the hostal is situated is really nice and calm, but still only a short walk to the beach and to all shops and restaurants. Feels like real Spain.

We liked everything. This is a wonderful property. The king size bed really was big and very comfortable, great balcony to have a drink and see the ocean. The breakfast had a terrific buffet along with omlets, bacon and eggs etc. Mercedes is a terrific owner, she was so helpful with everything. The property is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the city center. Highly recommended.

We really liked everything here, it's a great accommodation close to the beach and city center, but it's also quiet. The room is very clean with a great big bed, the bathroom has a big shower with good water pressure and soap, shampoo and body lotion. We had room 9 with great view and big terrace. They were so nice and cleaned our bag after a bottle of wine was broken in it. Also, you must try the wine from the room. It can be hard to park, but we used the parking lot that is behind the building, you have to climb a little after to the hotel and it's not paved, but it's very close when you go back down.

Kids running in the hallway and slamming doors in the middle of the night, but they can't choose their guests.

Everything about this stay was perfect. The hospitality, the rooms, the terrace, the pool... all were impeccable. The location was amazing, and I'll be dreaming about the breakfast for months to come. The hostal was always relatively quiet, meaning a lot of the time you'd get the terrace / pool to yourself.

Lot’s of lovely little spaces and small courtyard with a quirky Spanish touch. The breakfast was lovely and the location is great.

We had room 8 for our stay, excellent size with the largest bed I’ve ever seen, the balcony had 2 sun loungers and a table with 2 chairs with a view down to the sea.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about our stay, the room was cleaned to a high standard daily except Sunday, friendly, welcoming, helpful people that guaranteed we will return.
