The hotel facilities are great and everywhere is exceptionally clean. Loved the pool which is much bigger than expected and perfect at the end of a hard day skiing. The spa was also very nice - we didn't have any treatments but the space itself is lovely to relax in. The ski hire shop in the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced - highly recommend using this for ease. The shuttle to the cable car was very welcome at the start and end of the day (but see below for negatives!)

Our hotel room was so hot, and the windows only open a small amount. We kept it open all day/night but it didn't make much difference and often the cleaners would close the window which was frustrating. The food was disappointing, plenty of choice so something for everyone and some things were good, but the quality on offer at the buffet was below what I would expect for a 5-star hotel, also everything was always quite cold. We also had breakfast in the Gou restaurant on our first morning but the service was so slow we chose to eat in the buffet for the rest of our stay. The 'magic carpet' ski lift from the hotel to the closest ski run was not working during our stay, which meant the hotel was not "ski out" as advertised. After 8pm, the shuttle service costs to/from the village costs 5 EUR per person which seems quite expensive for a 2-3min journey. We decided to walk back one evening, but it was a gruelling 15-minute steep uphill walk so bear that in mind if you're venturing out for dinner!

There is a lot of "song and dance" entertainment with loud music in the main bar. This means there is actually no place to sit and relax in a more quiet environment. I suggest that the "entertainment" is moved into the "Theatre Area" (which was empty and not used). And then the main bar could be with a bit more quiet atmosphere around the fire. And the music and entertainment, and children activities done in the other room.

bizarre place on top of a hill with no service back from town of an evening so stuck walking back up hill as no taxis in town either…. there is no pillow menu… breakfasts are awful…

I was about to cancel this booking due to some comments here, however the hotel was a nice surprise. We liked almost everything about it. Stayed at the 5 start part of the property which feels brand news. The staff was polite and helpful at all times, housekeeping twice a day. You can buy ski pass and rent ski equipment directly at the hotel and there are free shuttles to the ski areas (available at all times till about 5 o’clock, no waiting). Spa area is also very nice (one complimentary visit provided; swimming pool is freely accessible). Did not have any issues at all with the WiFi.

They need a better system at the lobby bar since someone has put his/hers cocktails (6 of those) under our room number. Did not pay for this of course, however quite an unpleasant experience having to explain it was not my signature. If you want to have dinner at town in the evening you need to be prepared to walk around 15 min up the hill on your way back. Don’t park under the hotel since you will get fined. Our car could not make the last turn up the hill since the road was covered in snow and we were told it was ok to leave it there, however this is not the case since we had a ticket next morning.
