Very friendly staff

Wonderful location, the views and the surroundings are amazing, especially during winter time. The hotel is very comfortable, our room was very spacious, nice bathroom. There's too much light coming from the windows in the morning, but since breakfast is until 10h30, that's ok. The staff was very friendly, especially the lady during our check-in and the gentleman that served us during dinner, as they both spoke in English with us, which was great. They were also extremely polite and welcoming. Very pleased with our stay!

The indoor-pool's water could be warmer and we were told we could get a parking spot, but we only saw outdoor places (which may get filled quickly?...). Since it wasn't snowing, that was ok, but we would prefer a closed garage. That, and too much light in our room in the morning, were the only (very) minor setbacks.

This was not my first stay in a 4*S spa hotel so I knew what I could expect. The rooms and restaurant are nice, the spa area is even beautiful and all the staff was nice.

The food was very disappointing - convenience, low quality, no choice and you even have to get it yourself like in a canteen. In case of a desert buffet this would be understandable but not for one sweet thing. Same for the starter. And I would like to see more decorative efforts and other nice little things. Not a single candle in the whole spa hotel ...no welcome sweet nor fruit in the room. For me this was definitely the first and last time in this hotel because there are so many spas around. Other guests who knew the hotel from the past said the same. Food is an important part of a spa weekend. Think about it!

only that standard rooms are next to the highway and are a bit too noisy at the night and mornings.

Our baby was 11months old when came to this hotel for our first holiday after exhausting pandemic months made of homeworking with a baby; and the hotel made this holiday a true success for us! - Many short ballads can be done nearby the hotel - The temperature of the indoor pool was perfect to swim with our baby while avoiding the sun; and the pool isn’t too noisy our crowded so she had a blast ! - The staff was very understanding and adorable with her (she even had special a steamed vegetables julienne on our day of arrival!) - she slept great in her hotel crib (which was an actual very good quality crib, not a fold-up bed, which we didn’t expect and were very positively surprised about) - the room was safe for the baby, even the balcony - there was a diaper changing table in the hotel restroom - the restaurant baby high chair was very good quality and comfortable All this really allowed us to relax and enjoy our holidays as a family

We only encountered 2 difficulties : - reception staff didn’t speak fluent English so it took us 3 iterations across 2 days to get the book containing a list and map of the trails in the area (book exists for hiking and mountain biking): to me these should be proposed upon arrival - the hotel has very strict schedules: we didn’t expect it and it took us a few days to adjust. Examples : one MUST be in the restaurant between 6 and 7pm to get dinner; if not reception calls and strongly suggests we get there :) - not our usual dinner time but it was rather easy to adjust :) . Other example: bar closes at 23:00 and bar terrasse closes at 22:00. As our baby generally fell asleep around 21:30; we had 30min of terrasse and 1h30 of « bar service »: we would have enjoyed a longer bar service (and of course it was impossible for us to go to another bar outside the hotel as our baby was sleeping in the hotel 😅). So first night we just sat on a bench outside the hotel to look at the stars; others we just went to bed early which in the was a good idea given the busy hiking days :)
