The hotel was in an ok location for what we needed (to drive to the Grand Prix) and staff were helpful.

Room was full of mosquitoes was absolutely bitten alive. Husband had to swat 5-6 every night. The hotel was in an ok location for what we needed (to drive to the Grand Prix) but there were no on site facilities such as a bar or restaurant and the hotel wasn’t within walking distance to any off site restaurants- which meant you had to drive everywhere. Hotel was clean enough but carpets and bathroom were very outdated and TV had no English channels (something which was needed as there was no on site bar/restaurant)

We booked a room with balcony. We wrote that we had a dog. Booking.com confirmed our booking, but did not tell that the rooms with balcony were not ment for pets!!! Bad communication!!!!!! The hotel has the upper floor for guests bringing pets. Old carpets and ordinary windows. The huge windows from floor to ceiling are on the floor below, where there are balconys, and it is not allowed to bring pets. Great disappointment.

Nice big rooms

We could have stayed in 1 big rooms instead of 2 rooms because the kids are still small but you don't give that option

Standout include the excellent service and hospitality of the reception staff; the excellent hot water and central heating. Positives include the suite room size; the free coffee/tea facilities throughout the day; the simple kitchenette facilities, but you have to ask for the cutlery and chinaware upon arrival, which is a quite unique and understandable approach. Breakfast selection was reasonable, but you have to accept that they can run out of provisions (on one particular Wednesday, already 1/2 hour into the opening of breakfast)

Apart from the reception and breakfast area, the hotel looks quite tired. All carpets are heavily stained in the hallways. Some door frames chipped. We saw two rooms on two different floors with the same conditions inside. The curtains are stained as well as the carpets. Perhaps replacement throughout by laminate flooring and a proper check of the curtains and fixings, would be the best solution to bring back freshness in an otherwise pleasant surrounding. The pet-policy on various booking sites and their own internal website needs to be aligned. Some state pets allowed, others state not allowed and you are banned from certain room types when bringing a pet, even if you have reserved and paid for the room type. In our case, through our perseverance, this was resolved amicably.
