It's nice hotel with a genuine feeling. But it was about 33 degrees outside and no aircon in the room. Just tiny fan that was a joke. The staff was very careful about the rules but not so service minded.

Located in the centre of town, walked out the door and directly in to the Christmas market. Excellent food and service

I would highly recommend Central Hotel, excellent in every way. Location, staff, cleanliness, food and the rooms are really large and comfy. Beds were great too. Great value for money as well.

The hotel room was very nice and cozy. And the breakfast buffet was nice.

Staff was fantastic, breakfast was great, rooms were clean. Parking garage is tight but do-able. Would definitely recommend and would come back in a heartbeat. Location is right around many shops, restaurants and wineries. Restaurant at the hotel was great for dinner, too. All around, a GREAT experience!

Good hotel, a short walk from all of the central amenities. Good breakfasts and we had an excellent dinner on one evening. There is a lot to see in the area.

Check in area is combined with an internal Gasthaus restaurant, typical of German Gasthauses. Easy walk to the river cruises and all the little fun spots in town. No A/C but they had a small fan.

First, I’m not a hotel snob. The people were very nice, and the lobby was very traditional and warm. Nice ambiance. At check in, we were told we would have to pay for parking even though our reservation said it was free. I sent the clerk off to “the Chief” who said I would need to pay it because their policy changed. Not good. The room was very small...really, could hardly move around the bed. Interior was dated but clean. As others have reviewed, dinner was outstanding as was the breakfast buffet. All in all, I’d advise a friend to try another option. It really upsets me when people try to be unfair.

Room was a good size, bathroom less roomy but had a large walk in shower and modern suite. Bed was large and comfy. Room was quite. Good, varied breakfast selection. Hotel has a restaurant attached which was very good, but not well advertised online. Staff were very good and made our stay even better. Great location, only 3 min walk to the river and KD terminal.

I appreciate steaks aren't hard to make, but the chef got it spot on as I asked for medium rare. Staff were friendly, hotel has a good location and free parking... Rooms were clean, and breakfast was good as well. All in all top hotel and would recommend it for other to stay there.

The hotel is in a good position in the town - close to the river, restaurants and bars. It is about a 15 minute walk to the station and 20 minutes to the Asbach visitors centre. The room were extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and some hot food. The hotel restaurant is a little bit expensive but the food and service were excellent. I would certainly go again.

We stayed for one night. The room was very clean. The location is perfect, you can walk to everywhere. Breakfast was delicious. We had dinner in this hotel's restaurant and it was outstanding!

You enter this hotel through the restaurant, so it's a little confusing. The check-in desk is past the kitchen, sort of like an afterthought. But aside from that, and having to go down stairs to reach the elevator, it was fine. Coming in from the parking lot there is a ramp to the elevator, so bringing in luggage was easy. I stayed there twice on this trip. My first room was relatively spacious, with two comfortable twin beds, and windows that open. I don't like dealing with the radiators in Europe and it was a little over-warm for my taste, but fresh air made up for that. My second room was a little smaller, with one twin bed and a full-sized couch, very comfortable. The shower stalls are very compact. I am a size 10 average height woman, and bumped my elbows in the shower stall. If you are an amply-sized person, this may not be the hotel for you. The rooms were very quiet except for some construction briefly going on next door on my first visit. WiFi was free and reliable, with a strong signal. Parking was free, either in the garage or in the outdoor lot. The breakfast room had each guest's name on their reserved table, and the selection was good. I ate lunch in the restaurant on my first visit. The food was delicious, the selection diverse and creative, and the service excellent. The hotel is very easy to find, another plus!

Rudesheim is a lovely little town on the Rhine river. Spent a night at this hotel in late October, at the end of the tourist season. The hotel was clean and cosy, the service was good and the price was more than reasonable. The room rate included a generous breakfast.

I first stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and I liked it enough to stay on my return. It is centerally located to the downtown area which is always a plus. The price was right. The buffet breakfast was great. The rooms are a little dated but I will recommend it to my friends.

Great staff so very welcoming and friendly. Close to train station and all facilities. Loved just wandering through the nearby streets, having coffee etc. a most wonderful experience in Rudesheim . Excellent breakfast

We stayed at the Central Hotel over a weekend visiting the Christmas market. The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly, the manager was also very friendly with a good sense of humour. The double rooms were not very spacious but they were very clean and comfortable with satellite TV and mini-bar. Thankfully the church did not ring its bells through the night, which it did the last time we stayed in Rudeshiem, as it is right across the street.

Great hotel and breakfast, close to the river cruises. Staff very helpful in providing orientation to the cruise boats. Lack of elevator in our section was a bit of a problem though.

Nice, quaint German hotel. Small but functional rooms, nice sized bathrooms. Was very warm while we were there and no a/c but we asked for and received fans for our rooms. Breakfast was really nice. Lots of cereals, breads, pastries, and hot items, eggs and sausage. After checking out they happily held our luggage for us in storage while we took a ferry down the Rhine and the train back. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel looked beautiful on the web site but the staff were impersonal, there was a large hair in the sink and the only way to cool the room was a very noisy fan. Very disappointing.

This was the second time staying at this hotel and we would stay there again. It is very comfortable and conveniently located. The only minus point is a lack of air.con. but as it was unseasonably cool on both our visits this was not a problem for us. The breakfast was very good but this seems to be a feature of most German hotels.
