We loved the property. It was clean, welcoming, and well stocked. The location was peaceful and beautiful. It is close to town and hiking. We all really enjoyed our time there. It was relaxing.

Such a beautiful location with a waterfall just right outside the door! A friendly neighbor nearby informed us that a flash flood that happened recently made the waterfall even bigger and the sound outside our door because of it was a dream. I truly didn’t want to leave the patio! Patio heater, grill and a fireplace below made the outdoor experience wonderful. In better words- this stay was beyond our expectations! Thank you so much for having us!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was very nice and in a very secluded quiet area. It was a little difficult to get to. We had been told that the furnace and fireplace had a service maintenance check before we arrived. However, the furnace did not work. It was mid September, and the night temperature was 40 degrees. The fireplace kept the upstairs warm, but the lower level was cold. We reported it the next day, and a service guy came out, and couldn't get the furnace to work. He bought 2 floor heaters for the downstairs bedrooms, which did help the 2nd night.The upstairs was very nice and clean. Our biggest complain was the downstairs had a terrible pet urine odor. We do not have pets, and do not want to stay in an area where pets have been allowed. So next time we will make sure to book a place where no pets are allowed.

The cabin was very welcoming and roomy. Within 2 minute drive down you're right on the main strip in Ouray. Very nice neighbor. The stream right next to the cabin was great background noise throughout the stay. The firepit out back is equipped well and a very nice relaxing area. The decks were spacious and even had little dog gates which was great! Overall wonderful stay in a lovely cabin for families!

Beautiful setting for relaxing vacation. The balconies are amazing and we even saw deer on the creek below.

Beautiful house with awesome decks and a beautiful river and water fall flowing right in front. Love that the house was nestled up on the hill and private.

We had my wife and myself, 2 teenagers and my parents. Everyone thought the house was great. This house is in the foothills in Ouray and has two nice decks overlooking the stream below. It isn’t air conditioned but stayed cool even in the 90 degree heat! We loved how close it was to the perimeter trail and Box Canyon. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Enjoyed using the brand new gas grill as well.

The house location is awesome! Loved listening to the river. The space was adequate and the kitchen was very well stocked. The only complaint I had was the small refrigerator. There is room for a full size fridge, so I’m not sure what the story is there. I was feeding 7 adults for a week, and we could not pile everything in that little fridge. It was very frustrating. Plus, some things froze and others spoiled. The house desperately needs a new full size refrigerator/freezer. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house was high in the mountains on the west side of town and good thing I had all wheel drive and knew how to use gears to slow car. There is one sharp turn (called a switchback in mountain driving). Enjoyed the stay very much as the setting was quiet away from the noise in town. Scenery outstanding.
