We enjoyed our stay in Montecito, the guest houses were just right for a couple and a small dog. The main house from what we saw was also fabulous. Location has beautiful views and a great pool area. You definitely feel like a star. Thanks!

We absolutely loved our stay. The property is even better than the pictures indicate. Main house with excellent outdoor space, a great kitchen and killer views, then two cool pool houses each with their own sleeping areas around a fantastic pool. Communication was great, and John the caretaker was superb. Could not recommend more highly.

We had a very special few days at this gorgeous property...not only was the house beautifully furnished, but the layout was perfect for our multigenerational family visiting. We can't wait to come back to this gem of a property!

The estate met all of our groups needs. The owners were always available if needed. The property is extremely private and offers many areas to entertain your group or just relax with all the amazing views. Great hiking trails nearby as well. The property has everything you need for a small group or larger group. Truly a one of a kind and extremely unique property to be able to access via VRBO (there is really no other listing like it in the area). Enjoy it!

Beautiful home with an amazing perch overlooking Montecito and the Pacific Ocean. Separate quarters for friends and family, with many gathering areas. The location was ideal. Close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. We loved the drive up to the property through the many gated estates that surround the property. The house was well kept, and had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Owners were very responsive….Will be back and stay again.

Few pros, many cons unfortunately: - The home was quite unsanitary: we found well over 30 deadbugs, flies and cobwebs across most interior surfaces. - The guest homes had spiders of varying species hanging from the ceiling over the beds. Guests were bitten while sleeping. - The door handle to the main home's front entry was unsecured and fell apart over the course of our stay making our valuables unprotected while away. It was resolved. That said, 3 other windows in the mainhome were missing a latching mechanism leaving ourselves and our belongings quite vulnerable. - 2 of the 4 burners on the stove were inoperable and didn't light - The shower in the master bath rendered scalding hot water only and could not be adjusted. No cold water was available. - The jets on hot tub were inoperable - The pool was accessible until the 3rd full day of a 4-night stay. Many issues still largely unresolved. Bottom line, there is an infestation problem. VRBO confirmed that this home is now under investigation with the health and safety team. A home of this magnitude, at this price point requires keen attention to detail.The large scale dust and debris was a major failure on this point. We agreed to a 1/2 day credit given the circumstances - the host, unfortunately, did not honor their commitment. For travelers: Take 10 more minutes of searching and you will certainly find other homes available. Its worth the effort! This home is not worth the stay in it's current state.

My family and I enjoyed 10 fantastic days in this property with a large pool, well placed hot tub and sweeping views of the ocean and mountains. Guest houses provide ample space and separation for larger family or friends. Buena Vista Trail is close by and provides sweeping views of the whole area and is a manageable hike for families. It was a great vacation!

We had such a great stay at this property. The property is the perfect location, just minutes from the upper village stores where you have all the necessary shops (+some!) as well as a short trip down the hill to Coast Village.. central to the luxuries of Montecito, shops and dining options while providing absolute the peaceful serenity of being on the hill above all the commotion. The owners are hands on and extremely responsive, in addition to being kind and concious of the guests privacy. The hiking trail system that is Aprox 300 feet from the gated driveway provides you with what seems like an endless, well maintained trail system. We originally planned for a few night stay, which quickly turned into a couple weeks stay! Can’t wait to get back.

This an exceptional property. Anyone looking to get away from it all, this is the place. The location being up in the hills with a 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and California countryside is unbelievable. You have absolute privacy surrounded by two and a half acres of natural beauty and yet only 12 minutes from Montecito’s upper village with all the shops and restaurants. The grounds surrounding the home are that of any exclusive resort. The only problem with this property is that you have to leave and go home. We are already planning a return trip with the whole family. This is a bargain for what there is to enjoy. The owners are super nice and very accommodating to answer questions or to assist. Get packed!!!
