I liked the place as it had a nice bathroom and 2 rooms. The couch was not a comfortable bed to use. It is more for just sitting and it is not a pull out. The backrest drops down to make a bed. It is pet friendly, but the main house has multiple dogs occupying it. Kind of quiet except for the barking dogs. It is behind the main house. The yard in the guest house was kind of unkempt.

It was semi quiet. Smoke alarms went off 2 nights in a row. Nice property, just not fully what we needed. Good communication, just didn’t sleep well.

The space was an adequate size with modern finishes and very comfortable for 6 people. It was very clean and welcoming, as well as decorated with beautiful hand made quilts, supplied with laundry soap for the washer and dryer. If somthing wasn't right the owners fixed it right away and they were very accommodating and kind people. Now, i am an animal lover and have many pets myself, just non on the trip. But i could see this being pet friendly with a dog and water bowl supplied and a nice private back area for your pet. Some things we did not care for was the puppy mill being operated in the back yard of the main house(They were so cute though), as well as the owners 5 dogs being in the shared space which was the entrance to the cottage. It sounded like we were next to a dog kennel with all the barking, with a 6am early morning barking wake up call. The elderly dogs were sweet other than growling at my children and barking at them. This made them feel uncomfortable to walk into the gate needed for us to enter the cottage. We also had to walk around dog poo and pee because they allowed them to use the restroom on our front stoop. Other than that, the location was convenient and located near HWY 101 and popular attractions. Only a 7 minute drive to the beach. Host was nice and offered to set up a BBQ area for us on the 4th and even supplied us with chairs, bbq and a table. I would not stay again, but only because I like to have more of a private quite space when I'm on vacation.

Owner and neighbours barking dogs woke me up the first two nights around 2am. Other than that, very comfortable and clean.

It was very easy to get into the home in the back of the owner's property. The owners had five dogs that were all very sweet and when given the opportunity, made themselves at home with my friends. The space was perfect for our party of four, easily could have had six guests comfortably. Owner was a very friendly and answered all of our questions when needed. I will be looking for this property again when I visit and I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a rental in Eureka.
