Very central to Elgin, lovely building and decor and a comfy bed.

A quite exceptional property. Breakfast was nutritious, especially the porridge (always a good test of the standard of cuisine).Bedroom was pleasantly warm and the double bed comfortable. All in all, a credit to Elgin.

We had a lovely two night stay at the pines. We appreciated the warm welcome & shown our room. It’s was lovely and well equipped. Also liked the option to order our breakfasts for each morning. Avoided waste. We were in room 3. Comfy king size bed with a Coffee machine & biscuits which were replenished each day. Breakfast were made to order, hot & delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the pines. Highly recommend it & hope to stay there again when we visit our friends in the area.

Had a great stay at the Pines guest house, the hosts were lovely, it was the hosts sister and her husband at the time, great breakfast and loved the quirkyness . Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting family in Elgin. It's a beautiful house and our room was also lovely with coffee making machine, water and biscuits. We loved the heated blanket as well! Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The hotel is also perfectly located with just a short walk to the main shopping area. Would definitely recommend. Owners were also delightful.

First time i have used The Pines and certainly wont be the last. Great room, breakfast and not forgetting the hosts.

Really enjoyed talking with the hosts and grateful they found a fan for our room. Our bed was comfortable, the en suite room very clean and the breakfast generous and delicious. We were grateful they booked dinner for us at a local restaurant and let us park our car on premises while we explored the Elgin Cathedral. Very pleased overall and would highly recommend!

If you are visiting Elgin, I highly recommend The Pines Guest house. The Staff is so kind and the house is beautiful. Lovely garden outside and the breakfeast was so good. We will defintly come back.

Lovely period property more like a country house small hotel , very clean and lovely rooms, breakfast for kings with homemade bread and plenty of toast ! The hosts are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble I enjoyed 2 nights and had to get up early on the 2nd so was kindly left a breakfast bag again for a king . I would highly recommend The pines and would return if in the area again . Thank you for good old fashioned values and service , best wishes for the season

Beautiful property in close reach of city centre, we were made very welcome and our host could not do enough for us. The breakfast was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. If I was back in Elgin I would certainly stay here again. If I was to pick a slight negative it would be the low water pressure in the shower but everything else was great and didn’t really detract from the many positives.
