We had a mixed group enjoying a graduation celebration trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the snacks and food basics available on our arrival. With delayed flights and a long day of travel, it was nice to see really great provisions. The space was perfect for our family. We have no complaints about the space. At one point we had an injury unrelated to the stay. Our host shared ideas for doctors and checked in daily to see how we were faring. It was so appreciated. Our only negative was the commute to NYC. We struggled a little with the timing of the bus schedule and leaned on Uber’s to make our scheduled events in the morning. When there was traffic over the Holiday weekend, costs were high. I am sure this would have been different if it weren’t a holiday weekend. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

Awesome place to stay, not too far from New York’s best spots.

Instead of staying at Marriott Marquis where our business event was all week, we opted to stay offsite and I have to say Elizabeth and her husband are the best of the best. Amazing hosts, they care for you as if you are their own family. We have traveled broadly, they were so helpful with transportation, best places to eat and best things to do. You will be equally pleased if you book with them. Best VRBO experience ever and we travel broadly, a few times a year. Thank you so much.

This place was perfect! We hung out in New York the whole time and it was nice to go at the end of the day and be out of the city. The place is adorable and roomy. And I have to tell you I’ve rented many VRBO’s and I have never seen a place that has been stocked as good as this one! They even left us some food and literally anything that you need. The owner was easy to deal with and fast to respond. We plan to visit New York again and this will definitely be where we stay! We loved it!

Everything was comfortable , the rental was spacious, and the hosts thought of everything including breakfast and lunch foods, coffee, toiletries and water. They were easy to communicate w as well. I didn’t read the description very well so I was surprised that the rental is in New Jersey. It wasn’t very far from anywhere we went to though.

Just a short bus ride into Manhattan and a great location to base your trip to New York from. Excellent host and great accommodation. Made our trip memorable!

I very rarely leave reviews, but this host was fairly thoughtful and I wanted to acknowledge and reinforce their approach. Nice unit. As pictured. Good location; easy bus to/from Manhattan; Starbucks half block behind rental. 12’ - 14’ (?) ceilings. Nicer finishes. Fairly comfortable furnishings. Everything worked. In the early days of P2P platforms like AirB&B / VRBO you rented a home that was at least somewhat cared for and had many of the little things that individually seem inconsequential but are somewhat impactful - soap (dish, dishwasher, laundry, hand, bath), trash bags, condiments, plastic wrap, etc. Not so much any more as these are straight investments with big management companies and no real human touch. It’s rare to encounter more than the absolute minimum in every respect. This rental actually had all of the things needed for a functional stay including laundry detergent, several umbrellas, extra towels and blankets, etc. Beds were OK. Sheets were OK. Few pillow options. Kitchen was stocked with basic needs including coffee. Fridge was stocked with breakfast basics, which was kind and thoughtful. Place was clean. No mold on shower caulking (good barometer IMO). Things seemed clean and smelled nice. My mother-in-law is obnoxious about this stuff and didn’t make any faces or have any complaints. Anyway this was a good value and beats the pants off comparable NYC rental. Probably one of the more thoughtful hosts I had in the last several years.

This was a gem to find for our stay in NYC! The host was amazing, responding quickly to any question I had and offering great information and wonderful hospitality. The property was spacious, exceptionally well kept and well stocked. The grocery, coffee shop and were within walking distance and the bus line only a couple blocks away to get into downtown NYC. It is a very safe neighborhood and also very quiet. My granddaughter stayed with me, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay there again!

Stayed here with my family while visiting NYC for a week. House is clean, communication is great, and the location is ideal for either taking the bus (just down the street) or driving into NYC. Close to good diners and restaurants as well. Highly recommend!

We wanted to give our daughter, who was turning seventeen, a great birthday experience by taking her to a show on Broadway. We came across this property in North Bergen New Jersey, and some amazing hosts. You will never find hosts with better character than Elizabeth and Jose! The information that they supplied to us for our trip was so helpful. Elizabeth was always in contact with us and Jose helped us get inside the residence, and we apologize for keeping them up late just to get us checked in. These folks really made our trip unforgettable. Anytime you needed them, they were available. Welcomed with some very neat things like a stocked fridge, so helpful for us at that time. Elizabeth informed us Jose had put a cake with Happy Birthday in the freezer for our daughter, and she had tears in her eyes when we told her to look. It was not necessary for us and we feel we were offered too much as guests, but it showed their character and how they feel about their guests. I've never seen hosts go beyond what they needed, it was truly amazing and our trip was made right there no matter what else came. You can't find a better place than here, just for the hosts. The home is exactly as depicted in the photos. The beds are so comfortable and so warm. Everything you need, even if you never went out, and an iPad if needed. Location is really less than 14 minutes from the Port Authority, which was always our starting point in the city. Thank you Elizabeth and Jose! For an amazing trip

The check in process was a breeze. House feels very safe with camera and locks. Very clean! Beds were comfy. Bus stop and Aldi’s were a couple minute walk. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to questions. We did not cook here so I cannot comment on kitchen “stock.”

It was an absolute perfect place and the host was even better. She went above and beyond. I’m a huge fan of the place but her attention to detail was amazing. We felt like we were home. Thank you to all. Spectacular!!

The hosts were amazing throughout the entire trip. They ensured we were comfortable and had everything we needed. On top of that the unit was fantastic for the price and location to NYC. You could stay closer to the city but you won’t find a place this nice with a kitchen and washer/dryer anywhere close to the price. I highly recommend this house and any units these hosts have.

We had a wonderful stay! Very close to the city! Bus stop was close by and Elizabeth helped us with what bus to ride and how to get back from the city! She was very helpful! They apartment had everything we needed and more! True hospitality! Would definitely recommend!

I can't say enough about Elizabeth and this property! I had high expectations based on reviews and I was not disappointed at all! Exceptionally clean and spacious.We appreciated her thoughtfulness of stocking some items in the fridge and bathrooms. We felt safe and everyone we came into contact with on the street and in the corner store were friendly. There is a bit of street noise we could hear in the living room and king size bedroom if it was silent in the house, but it was not enough to be bothersome. Our stay included myself, spouse, mother and 8 y/o son. My brother-in-law lives in Manhattan and he ended up staying with us as well because there was so much room. My son loved getting to sleep in the loft and we enjoyed the comfortable beds. We took the bus into the city every day. I believe the bus stop was about 1/4 mile away, and it took us 5-6 at a leisurely pace to get to get to. Coming home was just as easy, but maybe 8-10 min walk home from the bus stop. It was a short bus ride to/from Port Authority (10-15 min depending on stops). From there, it was easy to walk around or get on the Subway. Elizabeth was kind enough to offer many suggestions on restaurants, but it worked out to where we ate based on what was nearby. We enjoyed The Mermaid Inn in Chelsea (exceptional salmon, squash/zucchini and gouda mac and cheese) and The Smith in East Village. We will book again if available for our next trip to the city!

Elizabeth was such a great host from the moment we got to the place until we left. There was everything you needed inside the house after a long trip, drinks, water, coffee etc. The place is exactly as featured online and very spacious. I will definitely go back. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

This is by far the absolute BEST property my family and I have stayed in. Beautiful. Wonderful host!!! She was available from day one and made sure we were well informed. She even helped us with bus schedules and times. Home was equipped with any and everything we usually have to make a store run to buy. She even provided extra surprises. If we are ever in the New Jersey area we will definitely stay here again. We soo appreciate you for allowing our family the opportunity to spend our long weekend in your beautiful property.

The apartment was beautiful, a great size and well equipped. Our host, Elizabeth, could not have been more helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. For us, the location was a little further out that we'd imagined (our fault for not checking properly) and meant we spent a lot of time money on Ubers getting in and out of Manhattan. There is a bus service that will get you across the Hudson and straight to a subway station, we didn't try it, but we will do next time. All in all, a great stay and thank you again to Elizabeth for all the help and advice!

Elizabeth and Jose are very gracious and helpful hosts. They surprised us with a little care package on our first morning, which was very nice of them. They were available via chat to help with any issues and very responsive. The property was meticulously cleaned prior to our arrival and included some staple items in the fridge and cupboards to help us get started. The area is a short walk to many accessible New Jersey transit stops which makes getting into NYC quite easy and painless. North Bergen also has many great shops and restaurants in the area which reduces the need to be in Manhattan too much. The one parking space was a little far from the front door so best to find a parking spot on the street to unload / load luggage upon arrival and departure. Overall, our family was very pleased with our stay here and enjoyed this spot as a home base to travel into NYC, visit the American Dream mall and Jersey City. So much to do, looking forward to coming back one day!

We brought our family to New York from Oregon for a vacation but also to celebrate our 17 year olds birthday. The owners were so helpful before we even arrived and continued to be helpful with ideas and information the entire time. They even had snacks, water, birthday cake and balloons waiting for us when we arrived. Amazing is the word that comes to mind about our trip, this place and the owners.

Great place. As advertised. Only thing that would have made it perfect was better parking. Parking spot is behind the building on different street so have to walk around the block each time. But, very close to bus stops to NYC. Excellent place.

Our family of three had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property. The first time we walked in the door, we all said, "Wow! This place is SO nice!" The townhouse was spacious, with high ceilings, comfortable and beautiful bedrooms. We all slept so well in comfortable beds with soft bed linens. Our son's favorite part of the property was the cool loft, where he loved hanging out. The hosts had stocked the refrigerator with water bottles, iced tea, and seltzers, which was a wonderful surprise. The kitchen was also fully stocked with all of the essentials. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with full-size toiletries, which is much appreciated. Elizabeth's recommendations were spot on; we wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy more. Thank you to Elizabeth for everything. We hope to stay in this property the next time when we come to New York.

My daughter, daughter in law, granddaughter and I needed a little space for our first-ever “girls’ trip” together. The apartment is just lovely, comfortable, in a quiet neighborhood. But is major attribute is the owner, Elizabeth. I’ve stayed in VRBOs since their inception 20+ years ago so I’ve experienced both “ends”. Elizabeth’s property stands at the top. She has included things you only thought you needed and forgot / particularly bathroom supplies. There was beer and bottled water in the refrigerator- wished my son and son-in-law were along! I’ve never stayed anywhere that didn’t expect me to do most of the departure cleaning for them - despite some ridiculous deposit. (Increasingly common with Vrbo!) Not Elizabeth. We pride ourselves in zero footprint, but she asked nothing of us. The commute via Uber was difficult at times ( Uber’s fault), but we wouldn’t hesitate to book here again. And I hope we get to! Elizabeth answered all our questions promptly, and her restaurant recommendations were spot on. We left wishing we could stay longer! Thanks, Elizabeth for making our time together very special.

Property was great for our needs. We were there for a Wedding and needed accommodations for our grown family. It was nice to spend some time with our son and his wife and our daughter. Everything was perfect!

We had an amazing time at this property! We walked in and all said “wow”, the unit has amazing ceilings, a great vibe, beautiful bedrooms. The hosts had full size toiletries, waters, seltzers, coffee, etc all stalked up. There were nice touches in the bathrooms and bedrooms. Very comfortable for our group of 5 adults. Communication with the host was fast and helpful. Very nice having a parking spot around the block as well. Location is great, very close to the main highways and shopping center. Street is populated (obviously) but very quiet with minimal traffic. Thank you for everything, this property will be our first choice when we come back to the area!

So wonderful a stay! My sister's and I (along with my son) all gathered here to visit my Mom who lives nearby. Lovely place. Spacious, wonderful kitchen area and open floor plan that accommodated a family gathering and meal times. Well stocked kitchen, games to play, extra blankets and towels. We so enjoyed our stay.
