The house is, as another reviewer noted, an old, beautiful painted lady, among a host of others throughout the neighborhood, all originally built around the turn of the last century (1900s). Since then, the city has fallen on harder times, but the houses around this area maintain their charm. To be fair, the neighborhood has a few houses that are in some disrepair, which may explain the lower price on this rental, but it's safe and welcoming. And, as the other reviews have noted, stocked with all the niceties and amenities one could ask for, including bottled water in the refrigerator (which I took advantage of, and wouldn't be adverse to paying a surcharge for if vrbo didn't already surcharge me so much..), stocked coffee station, gas range, every appliance you could ask, and a TV in (nearly) every room, and general good taste and thoughtfulness. And, as noted, about a mile away from everything and anything you want to get to. Thank you, Salomi. I'll be back with my family.

Just what we needed but bigger than we needed. Fenced in yard and back deck was where we spent our time.

Salomi's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed one night on a busy weekend. Location was great at the heart of Springfield, the house was clean and cozy, spacious and convenient. Salomi was very kind in supplying coffee, water, juice, soda, and snacks too. We would definitely come again when in need of a place to stay in Springfield!

A lovely Painted Lady. Clean, well stocked with snacks and general drinks to get you through until you can do a bit of shopping or go out for a bite. Well located for many of the things we wanted to see, yet nice and quiet. We would definitely rent again.

The house has many fun, interesting details such as a curved corner, interesting hinges and a beautiful old fireplace. The porch is beautiful! It was really nice to have a skylight in the upstairs bathroom. It made it so bright and open during the day.

Very nice place

Salomis home has such charm that makes it a joy to stay in. It is very close to the basketball hall of fame and the DR Seuss museum. She was an exceptional communicator which makes it easy for me to recommend her place for others that are looking for a place to stay in Springfield.

Stayed for 1 night on our way to Bar Harbor. The house was clean and well stocked. Communication with the host was EXCELLENT! we would stay again for sure!

Great house with all we needed to feel like home. Will plan to stay there in the future.

We and our Dogs very much enjoyed the stay. Great Value with lots of extra amenities. Very Spacious with a nice well appointed kitchen. The Dogs especially love the the LARGE fenced backyard. Great value and we plan to stay there EVERY time we come for a Dog Show at the Springfield Convention center just a few miles away. Thanks!

Beds were comfortable. Fridge was stocked with water and Coke. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Host stopped by and was very friendly and personable. An area to improve on would be cleanliness. Dining room chandelier and microwave would be a good place to start. Also nice if there were bedside lamps. Would we stay there again? Not at the prices being charged.

This home was clean, comfortable, well stocked with all our needs. We had a big group. Everyone was 100% pleased. And we definitely will be returning. Manager was wonderful. Thank you for a great time.
