Ambiance of this place is amazing ! The manager, Shantha was extremely helpful and accommodating... The other staff was pleasant and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would definitely visit here again and reccomend it as well !

Would be great if the room included a mirror and a little table.

Ambience is good.

We arrived in a light drizzle and were met by jovial helpful staff who came out with a smile and quickly helped us offload our luggage amidst jokes and conversations. We had small issues with breakfast and price difference but that was quickly resolved by the manager who is proactive and diplomatic. We chose the Family room which came with a queen bed plus a bunkbed. The room was spacious enough with ample space to store luggage in a practical way for 3 guys. The bathroom is very small and the facilities cramped in but useable. The linen was fresh and the beds were comfortable enough. The air condition was cold and quiet. The one thing we did not expect was the quality of food served here. We found the food freshly cooked to order, piping hot and delicious. The reception cum dining area is tastefully designed and out in the entranceway porch there are thoughtful areas with el fresco dining/drinking while people watching and also 2 day beds with plenty of cushions to laze while you read or tinker with your phone. Overall Moi is very welcoming and comfortable and gives good value for its location.

Below are not complains but suggestions and my humble opinions. The room we were in did not have a kettle or coffee/tea making facilities. It would be nice to make up for this with a hot/cold water dispenser with coffee/tea placed near the kitchen for guests to use. Even though the room is generally clean, the spaces under the beds are really in need of a good sweeping and mopping. The bathroom can utilise its space better with either a smaller wash basin or moving the basin into the room itself. The kitchen need a better extractor. Every time the chef fries his delicious food, the strong smell wafts into the corridors outside the room. But overall, it is a nice place to stay.

Completely worth for the price we paid. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Would go there again.

Location only nice if you see it from the streets. Hall is colorful and has nice paintings. All the rest is very disappointing

Rooms are tiny and dark, not clean, there’s also mould on the walls. The shower is terrible and not separated from sink and toilet. We asked for a hairdryer and apparently there was no hairdryer in the whole structure so we had to go out for dinner with wet hair. Walls are not isolated so you could hear and smell sounds and food coming from the kitchen

The location of the hotel is excellent and the turquoise doors as well as the art on the walls make the overall atmosphere very nice. Many small shops and cafes nearby. Breakfast was fine but not a la carte as the booking suggested.

I don`t recommend booking this hotel if there is a possibility of heavy rain. During our first day there was a thunderstorm and when we got back to the hotel the roof had leaked in several places. Floor, two beds and even some of our stuff were wet. They offered to replace the wet sheets or move us to another room in the lower floor (no windows, for the same price). We decided to stay in our original room and luckily there was no rain in the next days.

We arrived early and even though our room wasnt ready, we were greeted by friendly staff and a welcome iced tea. The check in was quick. We were shown to our room and the staff had already taken our bags up. The air con was lovely. The room was basic but served all our needs. Bedding clean as I'd read on here that someone said there's wasn't. The bathroom was a bit tired looking but worked for us. The location is fantastic right in centre of Fort area,and everything in walking distance.

I would have liked somewhere to make tea/ coffee in the rooms and bottled water would be nice too. There was no hanging space for clothes,which didn't bother us but worth noting in case it's important to you.

Nice new place.

Still some room maintenance is still in due order and the kitchen service is very slow. The music installation is also not well calibrated, making basses sound deep into the room. A pity considering the good vibe and location.

Nice Staff, nice location.

You couldn’t close the bathroom door. The room didn’t give a lot of privacy as the windows were thin and towards the 'hallway'.

I would say this hostel meets my expectation in all aspects, no matter the loation, the comfortness, the staff, the food, etc. I love how chic the decor is and the brekfast offered by MOI definitely surprises me! Strongly recommend all the travellers to check in this hostel!
