What a fantastic place. Such a lovely location with a beer garden that's great for a nice leisurely drink on a sunny afternoon/evening. The rooms are beautifully furnished and clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and Rachel and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was amazing! Would definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean, the bed was extremely comfy, the whole room was exceptionally well finished and the shower was cracking.

The Thorold is a fantastic little pub , we stayed for one night , our room was very comfortable and spotless with a fantastic en’suite bathroom we had a great nights sleep . We had evening meal which was superb 10/10 complements to the chef. The staff were very friendly they went above and beyond, we were made to feel so welcome. 5 stars all the way ***** would highly recommend to anyone.

Breakfast was excellent, our room was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Supper was delicious and the staff were very welcoming.

Great little find as we were visiting relatives & they had a full house. The staff were lovely & friendly. Room very clean & modern, nicely decorated. Fab shower, biscuits with the kettle & on the landing there were magazines to borrow. We didn't stay for breakfast but would certainly recommend & stay here again. Didn't eat in the pub so can't comment on food. Rooms were quiet.
There was nothing negative about this property.

It was very cold in my room but that was the only criticism really. Everything else was lovely.
