We had an amazing week in this beautiful little beach house! The front porch was perfect for our pups and the lay out of the house is great for families! The beach is only a short walk and the view from the porch is beautiful. The home owners are so accommodating and sent great information about the island prior to our arrival. This was an overall amazing experience for us and we can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Perfect setup for our 2 families of 4 with 4 young kids. Easy walk to beach. Everything was clean. Owner was quick to respond and resolve 2 minor questions. Would stay again.

This was our first time to visit Dauphin Island, and we had a wonderful time, and this beach house was great! Convenient to the beach, just an easy stroll so that we were able to go back-and-forth to the house easily throughout the day, great porch to relax on, super clean and nicely decorated, awesome comfortable beds and bedding! Everything was just great. Thanks so much to the owners for their great communication. We loved our visit and thoroughly enjoyed this home.

Stayed for a week, with our son and daughter-in-law and 2 grandkids. Everything you need is here, just bring your swimsuit. The 2 master bedrooms/ bathrooms are so convenient with multi-families. Grandkids loved the bunk beds. Sand chairs, beach umbrellas, toys etc...all there. Location is great, everything is a few minutes away. Also very walkable. My husband and i enjoyed going for walks and checking out all the beautiful properties! The beds were so comfortable and the house itself is so quiet! Its very low key and exactly what we needed. Thanks so much for a great experience. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay! We loved time on the porch and the beach! This house has everything you need and more for a relaxing family trip! Beds are cozy and kitchen was a great spot to gather and hang out. We will be back!

Weather was dismal but property and stay were awesome! Everything was as stated, facilities were excellent and hosts were the best part! Answered every question with immediate responses! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts!

Spring break trip with our kids. Property was very clean and comfortable. Loved walking off the porch directly to the beach. We loved it! Cant wait to stay again on our next beach getaway! Highly recommend.

We came down for a short trip had beautiful weather not a cloud in the sky walked the beach every morning. Literally, the beach is a few steps from the house. We cooked out, relaxed and just purely enjoyed the sunshine. The bonus was a beautiful place to stay that welcomed our German Shepherd dog, Oliver. Definitely will plan another trip to this property.

We spent a wonderful week at this home. It was so clean and pretty. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. There was open communication throughout the whole process. I'd love to be able to stay in this home again the next time we travel to Dauphin Island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was so comfortable and cozy and very clean. The decor was beachy but not overdone. Very nice linens and fully equipped kitchen. We enjoy cooking in and found everything we needed in the cabinets from measuring spoons to casserole dishes! Plenty of beach towels and chairs for use at the beach and a nice swing on the porch to enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. Very quick walk to the beach. The owners had just put up a Christmas tree and we really enjoyed the lights and decorations. Highly recommend this home - you won’t be disappointed if you book a stay here.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The hose was clean and nicely decorated. We loved the porch, hearing the ocean and watching the pelicans. A short walk to the beach. Very nice.

This is an awesome house that is packed full of everything you could think of for a family! The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool we needed to cook meals. Honestly, we could have left all of our beach gear at home because they had so much to share! The best part about our stay was the location to the beach. 1 minute from door to where we set up our chairs was amazing! Can’t wait to visit again!

This is such a wonderful home so very close to the beach! Our family enjoyed the comfort and everything we needed was readily available. The perfect spot to drink coffee while watching the sunrise and walk mere minutes to the beach to watch the sunset.

We love Dauphin Island because it has the beautiful beaches but without the traffic jams and massive crowds of other gulf destinations. And this home has been our favorite for several years now. It is clean, well-maintained, and very well stocked with everything you need. Best of all, it's only a short walk to the beach. The covered porch is also great for enjoying the ocean breeze and sound of waves from a shady spot when you've had enough sun. And everything else is within just a couple miles - restaurants, grocery, estuarium, Fort Gaines, boat rides, bird sanctuary, and the ferry. Bellingrath house and gardens is also a beautiful spot to visit, only about half an hour away from Dauphin Island.

We love going to Dauphine Island. The house was in a perfect location. Very clean and comfortable. Nice covered porch to sit on and enjoy the sunset. We could see the ocean from the porch and could watch the Dauphines. Just about 100 yards to walk to the beach. The owners were very helpful and kind. Definitely will stay there again!

Stayed with our kids and grandchildren. Close to beach, nice covered porch! Conveniently located to all amenities: restaurants, ice cream shop, fort, putt putt, hiking trails! Owners were very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The house is very well equipped for a rental, including beach towels, sand chairs and an umbrella. It's comfortable and expansive for our small group of three.
The location is good. A short enough walk to the beach to return easily during the day as needed. The front porch is particularly inviting and the area is not crowded.
Josh and Ginny are very proactive owners, notifying us of a couple of small issues left by the last renters, which were easily resolved. Reaching out to make sure that the resolutions were satisfactory and offering advice on local eateries and sites.
The island has changed a lot and very also little in the 60 years since I came here as a child. It is not over developed like so much of the gulf coast and the beaches are still first rate. If you want to check it out you can't go wrong with this home.

Very relaxing, the property was great and the hosts were awesome. Everything you need was provided and more. Home away from home. We will book this house again for returning trips. Thanks to Ginny and Josh for such a wonderful visit.

Perfect location. The house is very close to the ocean-only a very short walk. The house was wonderful for a Girl's Weeklong Getaway. We were very surprised to find how well stocked the house was for daily living. The only item I couldn't find was a tea kettle. Not a big deal since there were pots for me to use. The owners were very helpful in giving us the name and phone number of a local mechanic when one of us had a flat tire. If we return to Dauphin Island and this house is available, we will definitely stay again.

Wonderful! We absolutely loved the area. Slower paced, which was just what we were looking for. The home we stayed in was perfect. You could see the waves and hear the ocean from the deck. First and foremost was that it was spotless. The home was also very well stocked with everything we needed. The owners were wonderful. We actually got there a day early and texted the owners inquiring if the property was available that night. Within 5 minutes, the owners called me and had everything arranged for us to stay the additional night. Very gracious and responsive! Had a great time and would absolutely stay here again. As a matter of fact, we wish we were still there!

We absolutely loved Kathy and Mike’s beach house. It was the perfect proximity to the beach. It was on a private road with no traffic. I would absolutely stay there again. Kathy was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. It was pleasure!

We love Dauphin Island and especially this little cottage. It’s become a family tradition. It’s close to the beach. It’s roomy enough for everyone to have their own space. And Kathy does such a nice job decorating and maintaining the home. We hope to keep coming here!

This HOME was the perfect vacation spot. The owner has made everything g you could need available. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beach necessities were so nice and plentiful, the beds are so comfortable, the indoor and outdoor living were perfect. We met family and hosted some dinners and felt as though we were hosting from our own home. The location to the beach is great. This property provides a true vacation experience and the owners are lovely to work with. If we are lucky enough we will book, again. Thank you so much!

Kathy makes everything easy from booking to check in. This was our seventh year staying at this property, so we obviously love it! It fits our family perfectly, close to the beach, roomy, big porch to relax on. The house is always very clean and well stocked. We’ve enjoyed another stay very much!

Love this house, we frequent Dauphin Island, this house is one of our favorites. Close and short walk to the beach. We love to fish early in the morning, the house is close enough to head back have breakfast and change for hanging out at the beach.
