The location was good, we were attending a family funeral with my elderly aunts who had arrived from the US. The structure of the house was good, the host gave us access to the room at the back of the garden which was great as the house has no downstairs toilet, he has mentioned the cost would be 100 sterling extra a night but waivered this as we had complained about the condition of the house. Unfortunately there was no hot water so we could not use the shower/bath. It was the cleanest room.

From the outside the house is just neglected and dirty, I had to clean the house as we had family calling over the weekend, i even had to clean the bannister, it was black. The cupboards and drawers were full of crap, broken utensils and dirty, we cleaned what we needed, we were told by the host that they use professional cleaners???? I am not a picky person but I think clean is a basic requirement. We paid 1600 euro for this house for the week which was ok if it was clean, the carpets are stained and dirty, you wouldn't dare walk around in white socks. This house could be a good rental but the host needs to make an effort! This house should not be on the rental market considering the condition it is in. Spend a bit of money on paint, some fresh carpets and give this house a thorough deep clean!

Beds very mish mash. Kitchen work surface very sticky. Garden was horrendous, smelly drained pond. Dirty furniture. Uncut grass.

The one thing that let it down and it is little but there were no bowls for breakfast so had to eat cereal in a pan 😂😂
