Upon arriving everyone was so pleased. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures on VRBO. The house was clean with all amenities needed plus a few more. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. We will definitely be back and hopefully be able to stay longer.

This has been our favorite rental we have ever stayed at. It was very clean and spacious. Perfect location for all our favorite spots like devils Backbone and bold rock. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. 11/10 recommend staying here when visiting Nellysford!

Just a beautiful home! Great location for getaway and skiing.

From the moment we walked in the door we were so impressed by this home. 12 family members ages 14-72. Grandkids found plenty to do-ski nearby, games and hot tub. Walks to pond and state park. Bourbon and beer brewery also nearby House had enough beds for 10-12. Dining room for us all comfortably. Appliances were retro looking and worked well. So much room to enjoy. Master suite with clawfoot tub was amazing. 5 bathrooms and a wonderful game room with ping pong, pool and football. Well stocked linens and basic needs.sunrises over back deck every morning. Has built in pool but we were there in winter to ski so can't comment in that Many outdoor spaces to sit and have coffee or cocktails. Wintergreen ski resort about 15 minutes drive-enough away for privacy in this home at end of a cut-de-sac. Sunroom was ample to watch TV. This house was so large we got lost in it. Granddaughter thought it would be fun to count the doors!-all 59!!! Would definitely come back Kerkhoff /LaGrasaa/Overly family

This is the 3rd year we have booked a "Christmas" house through VRBO for our extended family and this house didn't disappoint!! It was convenient for our local gang to travel to (Charlottesville, Afton, and Fredericksburg) but our out-of-staters (Michigan and Tennessee) really enjoyed the spacious house, easy parking, and all of the outdoor attractions. It was important to have a dining table for 12 for Christmas dinner and we were able to fit everyone at the table -- no kid table necessary!! My nieces loved the game room and one played pool for the first time. We played a lot: cards every night, live music every day in the sunroom, and the hot tub was a dream!!!! I really appreciated the high quality linens and the comfortable mattresses. I don't believed I've ever seen sunrises so beautiful. The sky lit up with bright pink over the mountains and pond every morning. Thank you for making this Christmas so special for us.

Beautiful and perfectly maintained home with everything we needed for a relaxing late summer/early fall week. To have our pup, Butter Bean, with us was a treat! Kitchen was well-appointed, lots of space to spread out - cozy nooks, work space - the outside spaces were great! Pool, hot tub and deck with incredible view helped recharge the soul. Surrounded by nature - it doesn't get better! Joshua was also helpful - readily responded to a text and gave a quick TV tutorial. So many interesting things to do in the area, too! They listed faves in the Welcome Booklet - spot on! We would highly recommend to others and hope to visit again.

The house was beautiful inside with a pool, hot tub, and game room. We where notified on our way there that tge main floor a/c was broken. Thankfully many of the bedrooms had a/c units and the lower level had an ac unit. During the day the main floor and game room were too hot but the pool and hot tub were nice (the walkway to the pool is tough for somone with a sprained ankle and for Nana and Papa to navigate). The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We were surprised to learn that we had to take our garbage by car to the dump. The teen loved the swings on the lower level, pool and game room. Papa loved the hot tub anenity and all and all it was a very nice family get away for us! A helpful tip for the home oners: tissues would be a good thing, the grill cleaning brush was missing, and the lower level bathroom door could use some sort of privacy shade/ window film on the door.

It was a really nice stay. The whole family enjoyed :)
