My husband and I stayed at The Carriage House four nights, What a lovely place and perfect location! Stephanie & Mike were great hosts and accommodated us in every way.We easily walked to town and took advantage of the restaurant recommendations they offered. We especially enjoyed Owen's Fish Camp--- don't miss out on a great meal and experience! . Carriage House was a 10. My husband and I would not hesitate to rent again!

Great neighborhood. Lovely host! Communication quick. The unit was clean, cute and had ample space for the two of us. It felt very cozy and comfortable. I always appreciate when the owner leaves some personal touches with some water, snacks, etc. To me, it shows they care.

Perfect quaint place out of the hustle and bustle but perfect great dining just blocks away. Felt very safe walking in the evening.

I wish I could have stayed longer. The carriage house is private, super clean and is appointed with everything you could need. Very comfortable. A 10 minute walk to main street. The owner is next door and made herself available for any questions or needs that I might have. She is wonderful. You will not be disappointed. It is important to note that there are stairs to get to the room, if that is a problem for you.

Walkable distance to all of downtown Sarasota. Great room with everything needed for 1 or 2 people.

Great location. Well equipped and especially accommodating hosts

The host was very accommodating and communicative. Located very close to downtown, an easy walk there or to Selby Gardens. Quiet neighborhood. Very well stocked. Easy departure rules. It even has a combo washer/dryer. We highly recommend this property.

Owner was very responsive, from answering a question prior to finalizing booking to resolving a minor issue connecting to the internet. We were only there one night, but could easily see making this a base for a longer stay.

Our stay was planned rather quickly and so we were so pleased upon arriving at the Carriage House. The host met us on arrival, offered to help with luggage and reminded us of use of her phone contact should there be any need. The size of the unit and amenities perfectly met our needs. The location was perfect for us, and the ability to come back to such a quiet and comfortable suite was a great treat. Would definitely choose this site again .... and probably stay even longer! So much to see and do!

Great amenities, very clean, great neighborhood with so much to explore.

On the plus side, bed was comfortable, place was very clean, and the snacks were a nice touch. Nothing is stated that it is above a garage with many stairs, so just be aware with your packing weight. The "About this rental" is very inaccurate and quite misleading. It's states 1 bedroom and in reality this is a studio w/ kitchen cubby use only. There is no separate room for the bed, it's studio. The "2 Beds" is the couch which would have to be moved against the bed in order to fit. I was going to have a friend stay with me but upon arrival I quickly realized it would have been inappropriate and incredibly awkward. The microwave would not function and gave F4 error every time you attempted to use it. No kettle and "Stove", uh no. Please don't expect most people to understand that a "Waring Pro Series" is not an actual stove top, but a portable burner, which makes cooking an actual meal about impossible in this space. 1 ply toilet paper, really? States Wifi 100+ Mbps, I only received 10-12 Mbps... the entire time. So much potential and so inaccurate that if my wife was with me she would have demanded a refund and find alternative accomodations.

Relax and unwind these hosts have everything covered. From small details like coffee machine, snacks, drinks to out of the way perks; bicycles, kyaks, etc. The guest book alone (about 3” thick) will send the message that you are staying in good hands with super hosts! Overall one of my best VRBO experiences ever. Special place and very sweet hosts that care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Extremely clean with many wonderful amenities. Kayaks, bikes, towels, beach chairs and more in a perfect location. Laurel Park is beautiful and very walkable. Stephanie answered all questions and requests promptly. I had some internet connection problems at the beginning but Stephanie sorted it out quickly.

The carriage house was exactly as advertised. It was super cute and comfortable and exactly what I needed for my 2 nights. I was pleasantly surprised with little extras … drinks, snacks, etc. I highly recommend!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time! Everything was clean, the TV worked perfectly, and the bed was huge and comfortable. Everything was exactly as it seemed in the VRBO listing. Communication with the host was easy and friendly, and all the directions we got were clear and simple to follow. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was good and up to specifications—very clean, I do have back issues though, so the bed took a bit to get comfortable in. Other than that, amazing stay and everything was in walking distance!

The Carriage House was beautiful, well maintained, stocked with anything we might need. The area is convenient to shops, restaurants and beaches. Stephanie responds quickly to questions or messages! We would stay again!

We spent two weeks at Stephanie’s carriage house and thoroughly enjoyed it. She was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The location was wonderful as it is close to so many great shops and restaurants. The little patio out front was great for relaxing later in the day. The WiFi worked great the entire time so we could work remote during our stay. They had kayaks and bikes that we could use but unfortunately did not get around to using. We would definitely stay there again.

We took a break from winter time in Alaska and found this listing on Vrbo. Perfect for us. Beautiful accommodations and the location is great. And last but not least, a most gracious hostess! Thanks Stephanie, if we make it back again we’ll stay again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Steph's place for one night, but it was perfect in terms of location to get the most out of our brief visit. The kitchen was well equip for those who cook, and the bed was really comfortable. We would 100% stay here again!

This place is perfect for a couple, so many places to walk to and enjoy, eat, drink,shop ect, don't hesitate to rent this place, I personally will be back

Wonderful visit. Managers, Stephanie and Mike live on site and were friendly and informative. Location was great. Walking distance to downtown restaurants, shops and waterfront. Accommodations were pleasant. Only negative is the long flight of stairs you have to climb to enter. My wife and I would definitely come back.
