Very enjoyable and comfortable! Interior is much nicer than the exterior. Nice updates and newer furniture.

Clean, directly on the beach. Stocked with essentials. A little away from the center of Folly and restaurants, etc. That might be a plus or minus in your book. I liked the quiet and less traffic. Overall a nice experience.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wayward Whims. This was just what we needed after a stressful year where my family could come together from different locations and reconnect. The location was perfect for us! Out of the way from the busy areas of the Pier (which we did enjoy) and heavy traffic. The weather was perfect too even though the remnants from Hurricane Lee were still lurking out at sea. The property was as described and very comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed sitting in the screened-in porch to watch and listen to the waves. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed sitting around the living area in the evening. Our stay was perfect in every way. Thank you for making that happen.

Our family of three had the BEST time at Wayward Whims!! Marsh and sunset views!! Direct ocean and sunrise views!! This place felt cleaned, looked clean and had all basic amenities and more. We brought our own beach gear and had plenty of room to store it. From the super comfortable porch, we saw dolphins and out front, on the beach, we saw a horseshoe crab, numerous starfish and washed up sand dollars. Running to the lighthouse park was lovely! Our four year old even enjoyed just sitting around listening to the waves (and playing the board games)! Thanks for sharing your home and taking good care of it. Our granddaughter said, "This is the best beach trip ever!" The home is lovely with lots of updated upgrades. It sits just past the public beach access in a quiet area of the island. The pictures are true to what you get! The screened-in porch is a wonderful addition that allows one to be outside without the beaming sun and mosquitoes. A perfect spot to sit and watch the dolphins in the morning. We stayed the week of July 4th, and the beach was not crowded at all. I have already recommended this home to my sister! We really enjoyed staying at this rental. The only suggestion we have is to have a lock on the door to the bathroom and laundry room. It is a little scary going in there. Because it is so big you worry that someone may be hiding down there. A lock is a good way to keep people out. Other than that we had a really good time.

Spent a week with 2 families in the house including 2 teens and a toddler and the house was perfect for us. It’s a great location, quiet and the easy access to beach is the best part. The kitchen and bathrooms were well appointed, except one bathroom door didn’t fully latch which made for a fun toilet trip if the toddler was awake. Heads up there are no beach towels, but the listing was clear on that. There were 2 beach chairs and we picked up an inexpensive BBQ (which we left behind for the next). Everything was new and clean and we had the best time - highly recommend!

This house was actually much nicer on the inside than outside. Great view from the screened in porch too. Looks like it has been remodeled fairly recently. Having one room with 4 single beds seemed kind of odd, I would’ve opted for at least a queen, single then a bunk bed or something. Big drawback for us was that there was NO BEACH when tide came up! Water came up to 2-3rd step on staircase. Only time there was beach to sit on was at low tide, and it was not soft sand, it was compacted. Fortunately it was 4 adults, no kids. If we had brought our kids, they wouldn’t have enjoyed the beach (for the short period of time it was available). I wouldn’t stay here again so let for this reason, otherwise was nice. Just negates the whole purpose of renting a beachfront house. Unless you just want a view

A perfect place to spend the week. Love Folly and this house was terrific for a family and friends gathering ! We especially liked the covered deck -perfect for morning coffee :) highly recommended

This beach house was perfect for me, my husband, and our 2 young girls. It was clean upon arrival with an easy check in process. The house is very well equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen. (It has a drip coffee maker so don’t forget your coffee grounds!) We appreciated the ice and water out of the fridge. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. It was a very quiet part of the beach which was nice. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone! We had an amazing trip! Thank you!!

Very nice remodel on a Folly beach house. I would recommend the HVAC be replaced or checked. That was the only issue we had with our stay. The HVAC was having problems keeping up with the demand.

Great property. We had some exceptionally cold days and there was a problem with the heat, MyOceanRental did everything to make up for it. They brought in space heaters and got it fixed ASAP! We had a nice and relaxing visit. This property was perfect for my family!
