The lay out and design of the property is amazing . Rooms bathroom beds.

To have breakfast across the busy beach road is not a good option many cars and rain. They charged us 500 ,- roepi for 1 plastic bottle of still water. Personal speaks very little or no English . No connection with personal as everything is digital .

It's a good hotel, clean, service ok.

The manager promised to prepare breakfast so we can take away with us as we are checking out early in the morning,but he didn't show up and couldn't be reached by phone, I didn't understand what he is hiding for? $20 is worth of cheating?

Nice check-in experience. Hotel is an overall very beautiful and polished building - rooms were clean, great interior design.

Private beach was not clean. Breakfast is supposed to start at 7:30 - we had to wait approx. 50 minutes for our food as it was not ready yet.

Literally everything!! The staff was so friendly they welcomed us so warmly they offered welcome drinks, upgraded our room and gave us a FREE late check out as our flight was very late!

Everything was great and luxe. The concept, decor, comfort, food, staff - everything was perfect. We loved especially the boutique design concept and the beach side breakfast. This was our last night in Sri Lanka, and it was the perfect ending to a great trip.

A very stylish and welcoming hotel with really helpful and attentive staff. Madusha, Hirantha and the team could not have been more helpful. Nice large room and a good sized swimming pool. The beach club restaurant and beach are beautifully set out. Overall, a great place to stay for a few days.

The hotel is a short Tuk Tuk ride from the Fort - so a bit out of the centre (suited us fine). Crossing the road to the Beach Club requires caution!

The room, hotel and pool are lovely, stylish and comfortable. Good massage.

The restaurant and breakfast arrangements. You have to pre order your breakfast which is not an issue. However the restaurant which is across the road still ask you what you want upon arrival, you mention your pre order and then you get something completely different. We requested our pot of tea at the beginning of breakfast on the second say as it had come at the end with the toast.... We had to ask for it 4 times and it still came towards the end - it was sitting brewed behind the bar area. The reasonable sized pot was a third full with just enough tea for one cup each 🤣. This probably complemented the 3 chips (seriously) which formed part of the English breakfast. What was super puzzling was that the bar area has empty wine and spirit bottles on display yet they don't serve alcohol (which is ok just weird). There really isn't anywhere else to eat at this location. Staff were very friendly but in truth didn't really seem to know what they were doing.

Well designed and quiet property. Very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Nice restaurant next to the beach about 2 minutes walk from property. The owners have taken great care in the decor, maintenance and artefacts in the property

Hotelul, designul interior, curatenia, mancarea foarte buna. Proprietarul este o persoana educata, intelegatoare, ne-a explicat ca se afla la inceput si va imbunatati tot ceea ce i-am semnalat ca fiind in neregula.

Pentru ca s-a dorit ca restaurantul sa fie pe plaja, trebuie traversata o strada destul de circulata. Pentru prepararea mancarii se asteapta mult, dar totul vine proaspat gatit. Vinul nu este o optiune la cina pentru ca hotelul nu are inca licenta necesara. Am cerut perne mai subtiri si am primit o perna identica cu cea pe care deja o aveam 😂. Si asta pentru ca nu vor sa spuna “nu”.

Located in a poky little side street, with virtually no garden and difficult to find. The small swimming pool located inside the property is not likely to be used by many guests. The hotel had no liquor licence and the staff could not be open to us about it. When we asked , they said they could not provide wine but have beer in the restaurant, but when we went there for dinner in the evening, with a guest, they produced just one bottle of beer! Food service was erratic, although some of the dishes were tasty. Openness to clients was sadly lacking. The restaurant by the beach is nicely located but you have to cross the main Galle - Colombo road to get there! Web prices hugely overblown. Just about the right price with the 50% discount offered through the Booking.com promotion.

Loved everything about Taavetti . The ambience , the service , the aesthetic of the place . It felt beautiful and warm . Thank you Taavetti for making our stay super memorable and a happy one

Das Hotel ist ganz neu und super schön. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Wir wurden vom Hotelmanager Rashmika empfangen und fühlten uns direkt super wohl. Er gab uns eine Erfrischungstuch und einen Willkommensdrink. Wir waren überrascht über die große Auswahl und die gute Qualität des Abendessens im Restaurant (wo man auch zum Frühstück hingeht). Dieses liegt direkt am Strand und wir konnten zum Abendessen den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Einfach traumhaft! Wir kommen gerne wieder! :-)

Das Hotel liegt 20 Minuten zu Fuß oder 5 Minuten mit dem Tuktuk vom Galle Fort entfernt, was für uns aber eher positiv war, da die Umgebung dadurch für sri-lankische Verhältnisse sehr ruhig war.

It is beautiful hotel, in the city centre. The Fort is nearby. The hotel is spacious, beautifully designed. Breakfast is served at the beach club, which haa an excellent location at the beach of Galle. We even saw sea turtles.

This is such an amazing place - we felt so pampered during our 3 night stay. The whole place is stylishly decorated with antiques, beautiful furniture and art. There is a gorgeous pool with an open-plan courtyard and lounge area to relax. Great staff who make sure you have everything you need. We loved our stay and didn't want to leave. Thank you!

Everything was perfect!

1. The interiors are very well thought off and intricate. The wood work is exceptional. 2. Rooms were large and spacious. 3. Staff were very courteous and helpful

My family and I stayed at Taavetti villa in June 2023. Well, our stay was fabulous. We really enjoyed the pool in the property and the restaurant at the beach. The room very spacious with a nice big bathroom area with antique finishing A big thanks to : Vinod kumar, Shamika, Priyantha and not to forget the ever helpful Tharinda Lakmal. You are a star 💫. Thank you all for making our holiday a memorable one. I will highly recommend the property and will definitely come back.

Excellent breakfast, rooms and pool and hospitality was outstanding! Would come back here again in a heartbeat. Got the chance to see so much wildlife in their natural habitat and even got the chance to set some baby turtles (they rescue to keep away from the poachers or excessive tourists) back into the ocean at night when it's safe! Overall an extraordinary stay. Shamika the manager was so lovely and organized everything for us at an instant and made our stay so amazing, even when we made impromptu plans!! We would love to come back again and again!

We loved this hotel, beautiful decorated, service from both the hotel manager and beach bar manager was 5 stars! it felt like we were home away from home.

Great environment, relaxing, helpful staff, great private beach, treated my kids very well. Food was tasty, we loved the cinnamon shampoo. My kids had a great turtle experience thanks to the staff.

This stunning villa has absolutely gorgeous rooms with a stunning view. It has great amenities, I really enjoyed the pool and the massages was to die for. They also have their own beach restaurant with a private beach and delicious food. I very much recommend this place, the staff if absolutely hospitable and catered to my every need.
