The staff is really welcoming and will go out of your way to help. The location is right on the lake and away from the crowds. It’s a great place to go to relax and enjoy the different lake activities.

The place is beautifully situated in an area full of banana trees and coffee plants, with perfect views and direct access to the lake. The owner and employees are super friendly and extremely helpful and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, and the hostel offers everything one could need, including kayaks for rental, free drinking water, and the infrastructure to wash and dry clothes. Overall, a real gem of a hostel!

Getting there requires a short walk on a poorly lit path, but which nevertheless feels safe despite low visibility at night.

Gerson is building this beautiful ecletic paradise on earth on the shores of Lake Atitlan. Very friendly staff, picked me up from the centre of San Juan by quad and showed the town, and helped me join a worthwile Indian Nose sunset tour. As the place is quite new some facilities are still being built but the experience is 100% worth it. Very close to the town for all amenities (5 minute walk). I trust Gerson, his wife and the owner to make this one of the most memorable spots in Guatemala, beautifully nested between the farms and with great ways to enjoy the lake.

Private rooms currently do not have an en-suite shower or sink, only a toilet (but will have them in the future).

The best place I stayed! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. They really cared to make sure we were comfortable and happy. They went the extra mile to make us breakfast, arrange tours for us and even offer a shuttle to the airport. Thank you so much!

My stay was perfect. The team working there was super kind and accommodating. The room was absolutely gorgeous with a sunrise view of the lake. Everything was really clean and the water is gorgeous by the dock.

The location is spectacular and very quiet and peaceful. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful, Gerson even gave us a lift to the ferry on his quad bike in case we were running late! Lots of activities available at the property too and just a short walk from everything in the town.
