We’ve wanted to come to Buffalo for quite some time. We love Frank Lloyd Wright and also wanted to see Niagara Falls. We’re on a 30-day road trip up from New Orleans, escaping the heat. We’re traveling with our two small Boston Terriers. This was a great place to walk the dogs. The backyard wasn’t entirely enclosed, but was big enough to throw the ball for them.

This was a wonderful property located in a great location. It is walking distance from shops and restaurants. The neighborhood is so cute. We walked around several streets admiring all the beautiful landscaping in all of the yards. The house was clean and I loved the fact that there was a parking spot. Without it, we would have had issues trying to find a place to park. I would definitely recommend if staying in the Buffalo area. Host was up front about the steep front stairs. It was not an issue with us but just be aware if you have trouble going up and down stairs. 10 out of 10!!!

Very charming old apartment in a great location. Within walking distance of all of the necessities. We really enjoyed our stay here. It comfortably fit our family of 5.

We stayed here for a weekend with our family - 2 adults and 3 children. The home is lovely. Well decorated and updated. We really liked the setup. My wife is from Buffalo so we know the area well and it’s in a great Elmwood Village location. Close to shops and restaurants. It’s also a huge plus to have a parking spot for the house as street parking fills up. The owner reached out to check in on us and make sure all was ok. Overall, great place in a great location. Would stay here again!

Nicole’s place was the perfect home base for our weekend getaway in Buffalo. Great restaurants and shops nearby and a short walk to the AKG. The apartment was bright, airy and super clean. We had a great time and all agreed — we’d stay again in the future!

The pictures of this apartment don't lie: it really is as lovely as it looks. The host, Nicole, has decorated beautifully, and I only regret we didn't have longer to enjoy the property. Like all the houses in this area, the home is older and has the squeaky floorboards and occasional sticky door that come with age. The three bedrooms are decent sized for this type of home, with exceptionally comfortable queen beds in each. The neighborhood is quiet and within walking distance of Elmwood Avenue shops, restaurants, and bars, as well as Delaware Park and the AKG. Be aware that the street is one-way so use your GPS to find the house; otherwise, you'll be driving around the block to return! And the apartment is on the second floor and the staircase leading to them is very steep, so if you have any issues with mobility (or vertigo) -- be aware! There is an off-street parking space available, which is great because on-street parking filled up very quickly in the evenings after neighbors returned from work. With family in the Buffalo/Rochester area, we will absolutely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.
