Great location and simply wonderful house! Perfectly located!

Side gate was not locked when we arrived. We found out when tourists just wandered in when we were in the yard. Dishes and cooking equipment wasn’t terribly clean - dishwasher isn’t great. My daughter with allergies found the bed linens too dusty to sleep in.

First of all it had an extra bath although the listing said only 1 full bath, there was an extra 1/2 bath with washer which made a HUGE differences for our family of 9 people! The hosts were incredibly helpful, even driving us to a rental car place and waiting with us until after the lunch hour opening, translating and helping us book - since our original car booking fell through. The property was clean, comfortable, private and worked extremely well for our 4 families. 2 bedrooms accommodated the parents in one room and the 3 kids in an adjacent room.

the Booking.com experience was TERRIBLE. While we were trying to get a hold of the property before our arrival neither the email or text apps worked on the Booking site so we called 3x to customer service asking them to have the owner contact us. when we finally worked around booking.com to email the owner directly they too had been trying to contact us but couldnt get through. I'll never use Booking.com again although we WILL stay at this property again. So easy to drive in or go to the train station to Paris or to Rouen, Versailles, etc.

Amazing location - so close to Monet’s Garden! Lots of room for people to stay.

Garden and some rooms a little untidy. Many thing seem to not have been used for a long time and so didn’t work properly to start with - including the lock on the door. A little bit of attention to detail in the cleaning and this would be a very high value property.

The property itself is beautiful/very nice, spacious and modern. Clean and tidy and very functional/ lots of storage.

The decking was very slippery when wet and my husband fell over (in front of the person who came to collect the key). We had to pay a €50 charge for arriving late (we unfortunately had various issues at Paris Orly) no one’s fault, but perhaps the owner could have left us they key in a safe place instead or had a key pad with a pin. The owner did let us check out half an hour later though - which was kind. The step in the kitchen down to the dining room table needs emphasising as two people (of our party of seven) fell down it during the stay because the tiles are the same colour/ it’s not highlighted as a hazard. Overall a pleasant stay however.
