OK for the price and the country

Main annoyance was arriving at Hotel at 6.30 from a long overnight flight to be advised that I couldn't check in until 12.00, however I could access ny room immediately on payment of 28 USD.
This means that my room was available ( a large Hotel clearly not fully booked ) and I would have paid perhaps a 10USD premium but 28 was ridiculous so I refused. Poor money grabbing i thought..
In addition, wayer came out of bath tap discoloured, very off putting.

I always stay in Granados Park when I need to be in the center of town and/or when I need flexibility. The Hotel is always good at accommodating my needs.
It has a nice classic look of luxury. It's an older hotel. But the staff is always very accommodating.

The hotel is beautiful, and is in a very convenient location for someone with business in Asuncion. The staff was very helpful, and even though there was not always an English speaker present, they went out of their way to help and find answers. The room was very clean, very-well appointed, and serviced by housekeeping daily. The breakfast and lounge areas are very beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is a grand old Roman Catholic Church within about three blocks (easy walking distance), and Sunday Mass is at 11:00. Our room was at the extreme southeast end of the building, and during a couple of nights there was noise from a nearby nightclub, but it was tolerable. Also, the water was not quite as hot as some are accustomed to, but that is not unusual in Paraguay. The room was inexpensive and was a tremendous bargain - I did not want to leave, and would be very pleased to stay there again!

I stay in this hotel many times during the year . It is comfortable and spacious but needs an overhaul specially in bath and gym .
Service is good , breakfast and food are great !
Location , for somebody who wants to stay in the downtown area, is great , too.

The location is really good. The hotel is in poor condition and on disrepair. AA doesn't work, staff provided services that ruined my cloth. We ended up leaving after the second night to another hotel. NEVER EVER BOOK AGAIN

I really liked the Granados Park Hotel. The location was right in the heart of Asuncion Centro and was convenient to sights, food, and shopping. The staff was very friendly. Although the hotel is a bit older, I found that to be part of its charm. Also, it had a good fitness center, pool, spa on the roof.

It was once 5 stars. Now is up to 4 OK. Room and breakfast fine. On their website they offer a welcome drink and free shuttle airport. But that is not true. Very rundown and unsafe neighborhood. You get much more value for money in the newer district of Asuncion.

Never again!! The people here was so rude and the front desk guy an asshole! Parking sucks! The door keys never worked A/C was not cooling at all and the place its old and smell wierd!!

Free breakfast was amazing and always is amazing. Staff is always super friendly. The neighborhood is not horrible, just not very touristy.

Hotel is overall good to very good . Clean, good service, excellent food and , for business, good location. Internet is good but there is no business center . A lot of electricity black outs ( not hotel fault) but hotel should have a stronger private electricity generator . Gym should be updated !

The best thing in this hotel is the huge rooms and very confortable beds. Although the hotel is located in a rush street, there are no noise in the room because of the anti sound windows. The building is very old but you can notice the recent improves. The bathroom are awesome. You have a beautiful pool in the roof and the gym, including sauna and a hot tube, all of them very clean.
Small things that I did not like, staff hospitality, a very few plugs to charge computer or cellphones in the room, I found in the frigobar bottles opened. In spite of I am a gold member I did not receive any privilege offered.

Hotel has great location and was clean but it is tired, the bed was not comfortable and the staff are not super helpful. However, hot water and wifi were good and it was quiet.They also nickel and dime you, I was charged for some milk to have with my coffee in the room despite them not providing creamer. I would not stay there again.

Lots of things close by and in the heart of the city

Registering was disapointing. They did not find the expedia reservation. Once in the room they gave me a double bed room. I request to change it. 15 min latter they've got other one bed room.... but there was some bugs in the bed the head of room service witnessed the bug and quickly look for an other room after my request to change it.
As a compensation they send me a champagne (1lt) bottle.
Breakfast was nice. Good fitness room and also the swimming pool at the top of the building.

Overall I have to say an excellent option for visiting Asuncion, while doing business. excellent staff, great accomodation and good cuisine. The brakfast buffet could use more options, but it can also be requested to be prepared on the spot.
I stayed at the IBISS, BOURBON, WESTFALENHAUS, WESTFALIA, ACARAY and others. and so far I have to say the best Hotel in Asuncion. I have heard a lot of good reviews from the Sheraton, but I cant compare since I never stayed.

The room was outrageous big, clean and really silent, people in the lobby and restaurants very kind and really well located. I am was very pleased.
