Great staff at the hotel

What a great location, easy check-in made all the easier with the friendly staff who explained everything. Very nice room clean and comfortable what more could you want. Very happy with our decision to stay at The Royal Oak and will hopefully stay again

A comfortable stay in a perfect location for the harbor and beach. Staff were lovely. Room was much nicer than it appeared on the photos

Lovely view over the harbour. Room was clean but lacked storage space. There wasn't a hairdryer. Very convenient for town centre. Breakfast wasn't included but there were a few places in the town for breakfast. Parking was quite expensive but it is possible to park at Asda for around £6 day.

Great stay great room. I booked 5 rooms but got 4 flights of stairs to get to mine, difficulty as I’m disabled. Doable but 1 of my friends got gifted a lower room with a four poster! ?

Wonderfully charming traditional seaside hotel - friendly welcome and very helpful service, spotless room, very comfortable, great shower. Lovely location as well. Would definitely return!

A Very clean hotel with very friendly staff. Having a room at the top was a bit precarious with very steep stairs. Luckily only needed to ascend them once a day. perfect place for a short stay.

Really friendly check in, made to feel welcome and offered great advice on local amenities. Room was compact but had everything in that you needed.

HAD AN ISSUE AFTER CHECKING IN, THE STAFF WERE GREAT A D QUICK IN SORTING THIS. VERY FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE AT ALL TIMES

Good price for location. Had everything needed for a one night stay. Very clean. A little shabby in places, (older / dated decor), but honestly, ticked the boxes for what was needed for a one night stop over.

Although room a little outdated, it was exceptionally clean and bed comfy

Nice people and good hotel with fantastic location. No one was at the front desk when I tried to check in though and my foreign phone was not working correctly so I could not call the number posted to call if no one was there to let you in. That is more on me for not being tech-savvy, but it was a fine place overall

We had an enjoyable stay in Ramsgate. The receptionist, Matthew, was extremely friendly and very helpful.

A well located hotel near the pier. We had a smooth check in and got into our rooms earlier than expected. The service and cleanliness was excellent.

Typical UK seaside hotel, decor appeared dated although I think it was done on purpose to match the original building personality because from a freshness and condition point of few it didn’t look as old as the decor suggested. That said, the room was clean warm and tidy and has everything I needed for the stay. It’s a minutes walk from a beach with plenty of bars and restaurants literally just outside. The reception staff were very pleasant and offered to carry the case to the room, which is unheard of in a budget hotel these days in the UK All in all it was good value for the money without any constructive complaints.

There was no milk in my room for a morning coffee i asked reception for some tgey said they would put some in our room but once we got back NO Milk, big clump of hair in the bath drainher

Couldn't switch on TV other than that great will be back!

ideal position in the harbour

Nice location as right next to the harbour, but I hadn't realised it was next to a noisy bar. This meant we had very loud music and noise disturbance until gone 4am. This, together with a VERY rowdy and noisy guest outside our room after 4am made for a sleepless and thoroughly unenjoyable stay unfortunately.
