Sawah Indah Villa is a great place to stay while visiting Sidemen. The staff is very kind, the location is great. The restaurant serves delicious food. We had a great time!

Location is great, lovely walks from hotel to rice fields, close to restaurants. Our unit “family bungalow” was huge and set beautifully in the rice fields with amazing views. Pool was cool and refreshing with a view over the rice as well. Lovely staff and food at the restaurant on site.

We had such a fantastic stay at Sawah Indah that we opted to stay another 2 nights! The team were incredibly accommodating and were able to arrange this for us with ease. The location is fantastic for relaxing and exploring rice terraces and fields. It’s also a great base from which to climb Mount Batur. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious. We had a fantastic time and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sawah Indah. Everything was perfect. It was our 2nd time here and we will definitely come back in future. The scenery around is astonishingly beautiful. the restaurant was nice

room dirty, doors didn’t close properly , door to outside bathroom wide opened , animal droppings in my bag, stagnant pond with filthy water outside took, large ants & insects in room due to doors being opened & large gaps, no natural light.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The bungalow was very beautiful and clean, as well as the breathtaking garden. Great place to stay and relax your mind with the beautiful views.

Wifi was a little bit unstable in our bungalow.

We loved this resort - the staff especially are exceptional, but the facilities are excellent too. Breakfast was very good, and the views are incredible. I will definitely stay here again.

We reserved Budget room 1, which doesn't have ac. As lovely as the room is with it's own private garden, I would either reserve budget room 2, which does have ac, or opt for a bigger room with ac.

This is the BEST place we have stayed in Bali. We loved it so much that we kept extending days. We loved everything about it! Sidemen was not in our plans but we decided to add it last minute and we are SO thankful we did because is the most peaceful place we have been during our trip. The location is amazing, the views to the rice fields make it so special. The rooms are beautiful and VERY clean, we a stayed in 3 different ones because as we kept extending last minute we had to rotate to whatever was available, and we absolutely LOVED all of them! We really loved everything: rooms, swimming pool area, views of the rice field, restaurant views and food, breakfast was included and was also really nice. We tried the Spa, the 2 hours rice field trekking and one day tour that included stops at: Lempuyang Temple, Tirta Gangga and Snorkeling in Amed. We recommend the 3 experience, however if you don’t have enough time, you CAN NOT miss the 2 hours Rice fields trekking. It was such a beautiful experience, walking around surrounded by nature and crossing the river. Gede was our guide and made our experience unique! We saw tourist walking around rice field on their own and we thought they were missing so much because of not booking a tour. It’s really worth it IF you are adventurous. And last but not least, the BEST part of our stay was the staff. They have been so lovely and nice with us and every other guest. They make the experience even more special. They have been there to help every time we need it and they have been extremely good. Thank you so much to the Sawah Indah Villa team! We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone!

We had an amazing stay in Sawah Indah. Everything from the staff, the hotel complex to the pool was great. The location is beautiful and the restaurant view is magical for sunset. The food was excellent, including the breakfast. The pool is amazing : nice temperature and they profide with pool towels. The room was clean and had a mosquito net on the bed. The large bathroom was very comfortable and we liked the tub and dedicated space for the shower. We loved the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere around the hotel. This was our best stay in Bali, we would have loved to stay one more night and will definitely comme back in the future !

This place was the best and most luxurious experience in terms of the design, equipment and space during our time in Bali. The apartman was very specious, beautifully designed, and well-equipped. It had an indoor and outdoor bathroom, a little fountain and pond with a statue and a big terrace overlooking the green rice fields. A perfect place to relax and immerce yourself in the vibe of the countryside of Bali. The staff was super kind as anywhere else in Bali, helped us with everything. The Villa offers the guests a variety of programs and services (hike to Mount Batur and Agung, river rafting, cooking class…etc), and have breakfast, lunch and dinner service as well. Perfect and highy recommended villa in the countryside of Bali.

It was a little bit expensive compared to our other accomodations in Bali (Canguu, Ubud, Nusa Lembongan), but given the fact that it was the most beautiful, it is understandable.

this was the second time for me to stay in Sawah Indah Villa, the room was spacious and clean, I stayed this time in DR2 with the view overlooking to the rice fields, from the balcony I could do yoga and meditation every morning, the staff was attentive and helpful, the food was great too!

the songs in the restaurant during the dinner time were a bit too melancholy to my personal liking, while view and the food itself was really really great, perhaps more inspiring or happy songs fit the vibe better.

Private Room no4 is very nice and comfortable. It has a great balcony. The SPA treatments are great as well the pool area.

Rather late daily cleaning service. Service desk had very limited knowledge on proposing sightseeing trips and the motorbike rent is way overpriced.

No air conditioning, but the character of the room would not accommodate an a/c unit.

We really liked how professional was the staff, loved the view from the villa and the location was really really good. We also had spa massage there, which was very relaxing and in the middle of the ricefields. The food was great, including breakfast.

It would have been nice to have the bathrobes and slippers in the room. Bathroom was very small and got wet after showering. Hot water kept disappearing. It would have been nice to have a designated area for the luggage. Small detail - budget room was really nice, however, it's name was BR1, suggesting it was budget room 1, which is not the most pleasant way to call a room.

Luckily my wife and I booked this Resort for 3 nights in the beautiful region of Sidemen. The personal of the Sawah Indah was extraordinary helpful and courteous. We had a bungalow that was located a little hidden on the property with an open bathroom (partial open roof) and a nice sitting area at the entrance of the bungalow. The breakfast had two options, Balinese or Western type – where we always chose the Balinese breakfast of course. It was also possible to get it as a vegetarian version. The restaurant of the Sawah Idah was also very good for dinner, still, alternative Warungs and other restaurants are available within minutes by foot. A comfortable bed for the night guaranteed a recharge after exciting day trips around this magnificent region of north-east Bali. Unfortunately, we haven’t had the opportunity to go in the swimming pool, but it looked fantastic in the scenery of the beautiful garden and surrounding rice fields.

The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable, the view overlooking the rice tarrace is stunning. Staff is very polite. Great value for money.
