Rooms were very cold Shower was tiny Expensive

The decor, the quiet, the friendliness of the staff and pub patrons, the dog - Butch, the beauty of the surroundings, and the food.

There was nothing I didn’t like

The room was a great size , very nice and clean There was oatmilk available for us in the room as when we booked we said were vegan

No available power points next to bed No lights above mirror in bathroom Steps down into the bathroom No vegan options offered for breakfast by staff on checkin so we went elsewhere.

Staff was very helpful and cheerful,had a small problem which was quickly sorted, lovely location easily to find Would definitely go back again

This is exactly the type of place I like to stay. Small and individual, comfortable and informal. I stayed here a few times prior to the new management and it has always been pleasant but Kenny and Jo were exceptional and made me feel very welcome. Genuinely intersting friendly people serving excellent value for money food and providing a homely pleasant stay. Thank you

Short staffed, wait for food in evening, no choice of breakfast, full English served with no options , would not suit everyone.No waste paper bin in bedroom.

Really friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Large comfy room, very clean, excellent breakfast too.
