Very Good security. Staff were really helpful and welcoming. Lovely room with an upgrade. Half board option was good value. Very good access, had a lift. Staff made extra effort for my husbands birthday. Good location for train, shop etc, and beach bars if you wanted. Great outdoor and indoor sitting area in the room, tv with international channels. Nice sea view.

There is nothing that we liked. It is a horrendous place.

This is definitely not what it says it is. It is a property stuck in the 70s. The reception area is dark and horrendously decorated, with a huge plexiglass separator with a small window on the bottom. Feels like you are getting train tickets in a Gor forsaken village. The reception personnel looked unkempt. The room had a musty smell, the elevator was absolutely disgusting with dirty and ill fitting carpet, the sofa in the room had a huge stain, the door looked as if it had been scratched all over, the AC was only noisy but not cooling at all, the pool water was greenish looking. When we arrived at 9 pm, although it is supposedly a 5* place, the reception was dark and there was no one to welcome us at the door as it is usually done in this type of establishments. They were really preoccupied with us paying for the room, but the invoice they presented had nothing to do with the fee on booking. They started calculating the exchange rate into rupees. When I told them I preferred to pay in USD as in the booking, they scrambled again to find from the bar a cc machine. When we checked out, again, the reception was completely dark, unprepared. There was a guy shuffling his feet from here to there, not knowing what to do. After I threatened to leave without paying the extras as it had been more than 20 minutes of waiting, he went somewhere in the back and brought a guy in a crumpled t-shirt and dishevelled hair, which scrambled to complete the check out. This resulted in us leaving to the airport quite late. When we wanted to have some activities organised, no one knew in reception how to do that or what we could do for 1 day. Luckily, we booked a driver who was very knowledgeable. The food was subpar. The buffet dinner, although it had some variety, didn't even compare to any of the food we had eaten from restaurants on the side of the road, which had been delicious. The curries were just spicy and bitter. Red wine was brought to us chilled.
