The home and setting were lovely. Everything was well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a perfect place to vacation with a large family! Grandparents, kids and grandkids all had the best time in the well-stocked home, fabulous pool and gorgeous bay! Waking up to the views every morning was just the icing on the cake. The owners thought of every amenity and even included pool toys and plenty of life vests in all sizes. The kids reported how much they loved the bunk bed room. Thank you for making our first family vacation in a very long time the best!!

This house was beautiful. Gorgeous views. The accommodations were first class. The entire family had a great time. Kayaking on the the Chesapeake was easy and lots of fun. The kitchen was well equipped as we ate all but one dinner at the house. The game room was a blast for all.

We loved this home from the moment we pulled in the driveway, such a beautiful setting. Then we opened the front door and saw a breath taking view of the Chesapeake Bay! Amenities at this home were endless from well stocked kitchen, to unbelievable game room, to such comfortable beds, kayaks for use on the Bay and then there is the pool. WOW what a pool!!! My grandsons stated they could have stayed at least a few more weeks and are already planning their next visit.

Beautiful property! The house was well maintained, clean and well-equipped, and all the details and amenities were very thoughtful. Our family of eleven, ranging in age from 9-80 years old, especially enjoyed the pool and kayaking from the small beach area. Thanks very much - we'd love to go back!

Our family looked for months to find the perfect location for a summer getaway that fit in our busy schedules, when this amazing house showed up in our searches - we immediately booked! The house was breathtaking in an absolutely serene and peaceful location. We spent the days in the pool and hot tub, ventured to North Beach for ice cream and found the most perfect wine shop and picked up some local jumbo crabs at an incredibly low price - they were delicious! We had dinner at Mike’s Crab House and Skipper’s another night - both were outstanding. We can’t wait to come visit again!

We spend an extended weekend at Washington's Retreat and didn't want to leave. The amazing kitchen with everything you can possibly need, hot tub, game room, and smart tv kept us entertained and having a great time. The beds, amazing master bedroom tub, and kayaks on the bay gave us pure relaxation. Great for guests of all ages with main level master, bunk room on lower level and multiple bedrooms on top level could easily bring together a large family but give enough space to keep everyone happy. Easy entry, wonderful Wifi, and plenty of parking. Can't say enough and can't wait to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The house is situated on the bay itself with a short walk down to a tiny private beach. Highlight was the pool! Plenty of space to spread out and huddle for our group of 10. Look forward to coming back!

This property is tucked away among farms and is located in a rural community, and when you arrive, it's something out of an architectural magazine. It's newly built, has tons of amenities, and is beautifully and creatively decorated. From the beautiful pool, which has a push-button pool cover, to the huge and comfortable hot tub, to the views of the Bay, and the state of the art kitchen, it is a hidden gem. Typically, a rental property will provide basic kitchen supplies, but this one went above and beyond. There were so many different types of pots, pans, utensils, and even spices and sippy cups for kids! Most appreciated was that we were allowed to bring our small pet. The owners have left nothing to be desired in an effort to make this a home away from home.

The property itself was amazing. The house is very well taken care of and there are a lot of things you can do with the family. It is a quiet neighborhood which is really nice. The amenities in the home were excellent. We had some very minor issues that were attended to immediately by the property manager (weekends and holiday). Kudos to them for answering all messages and concerns that we had. They made the stay well worth it and were very nice. Will definitely stay again. 5/5 stars

An amazing stay at Washington's Retreat!! The house is brand new and every detail is very well thought out. It is incredibly well stocked with everything we needed. There are beautiful views from every room. We loved sitting in the screened in porch taking in the stunning views of the Bay with our morning coffee. The kids exhausted themselves swimming in the pool, kayaking and lounging in the hot tub. The highlight for them was the awesome bunk room and bottom level game room. We can't wait to visit again!!!

Absolutely beautiful vacation home right on the Chesapeake Bay. Sunrises are STUNNING! Spacious home with just-right room accommodations for all (toddlers, teens, grandparents, everyone!) and every bedroom has a view of the Bay. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked and the LONG table is perfect for family meals or you can eat out on the screened-in porch overlooking the Bay. The spacious great room is perfect for family gatherings and the hosts provide puzzles, books, board games and movie streaming options. One of our favorite spots for early morning coffee was a quiet sitting nook upstairs with a view straight across and out the huge great room windows. The basement game-room has fun for everyone…. foosball, ping pong, shuffle board, basketball, and poker. Outdoors there’s cornhole, a beautiful patio with a gas grill and a gas “firepit” as well as kayaks down by the small private beach. The weather was still too chilly for the pool on our visit but we can’t wait to go back next summer!
