Beautiful inn in the English countryside. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay after a long day walking on the South Downs Way. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, and the room quaint and comfortable.

A lovely pub with a warm welcome, comfy bed and excellent shower, and great food. We'll be back!

The decor was charming and sophisticated, with prints and paintings of the Long Man of Wilmington, books of local interest in the bedroom together with a folder of walks and places of interest. The food was excellent, both the evening meal and breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was surprisingly quiet considering the location very close to the A27, which also made it a very convenient location.

Beautifully designed with a real air of quality in the décor throughout. Warm welcome and lovely restaurant bar area / menu. Food was as fabulous as the staff- thank you for a wonderful overnighter.

Thr room was spotless as was the linen and the bathroom.

The main A road can be heard with the windows open. It's a very busy road.

I didn't stay for breakfast as 7.30 didn't suit my work plans

I was very pleased however a 7am breakfast would have been helpful, I understand that this would be a big ask for a small establishment but for me and to answer this question
