La superficie de l’appartement, tout l’équipement, et la propreté

Het is een net appartement, met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een verblijf in Londen. Op 10 min loopafstand van het dichtstbijzijnde metrostation. Een bakker 3 deur verder en een supermarkt naast de deur. Vragen worden snel beantwoord door de host.

Het is geen negatief punt maar meer wat mijn ervaring is en absoluut niet negatief bedoeld maar met drie dochters (21, 20 en 19) die zich ook af en toe willen kunnen terugtrekken moet je je goed realiseren dat daar geen mogelijkheid voor is. De slaapkamer voor 3 personen is ook de woonkamer. Ik vind het geen probleem, want mijn man en ik hadden een ruime aparte slaapkamer, maar merkte aan het eind (van 5 dagen) dat de meiden er wel behoefte aan hadden. Als je hier van te voren gewoon rekening mee houd dan is het een prima verblijf. Zeker als je overdag Londen gaat bekijken. Vanaf deze locatie is dat goed te doen.

All was good for us

We chose this property based partly on the price for the location (proximity to central tourist attractions), but above all on the positive reviews of the person managing the property, and neither the flat nor our host Juli let us down. We were pleasantly surprised to find how nice the flat actually was once we arrived. Juli and her cleaning help were wonderful in accommodating our request to drop off our luggage early and checking in. Juli was also very communicative and helpful while there too, without being intrusive, and check-out went smooth as well.

We were worried about the bath/shower situation, but the bathroom was great with a full bath that was outfitted with a shower attachment so it's good for both. The area the flat is in was also a worry, but was actually quite charming after a proper walk-about and the transport options into the city center were excellent. Any stay away from home can present challenges in different ways (even if staying at a 5-star hotel), but we felt that if any real problems arose, the host would have responded quickly and resolved them.
