Location is exceptional

Very dated bathroom and bedroom decor. Still retains the original Thistle fixtures & fitments. Bedroom modernization is overdue. Major criticism. Hot water to the shower was erratic.

We booked a lovely room as we had previously stayed here with my husband and enjoyed our experience. As such we returned for our first anniversary and everything the team did for us was phenomenal and we are so very grateful. They made the room beautiful and put lots of care and attention to this. We could not recommend this hotel more, always a beautiful view, wonderfully located for dining and going out and amazing staff available.

1. Bathrooms need refurbishment 2. Wash basin drain almost blocked 3. Room needs to be modernised with USB charger ports 4. Didn't find it value for money. 5. Lifts are packed and difficult to get into from 730am to 930.

It was right next to the Tower Bridge. We got some amazing pictures and a great view!

Lokalizacja jest świetna. Blisko metra, zaraz obok Tower Bridge. Śniadanie bardzo dobre i urozmaicone, też na ciepło. Hotel jest duży, przestronny, nasz pokój był ładny i z fajnym widokiem.

W hotelu i restauracji można płacić tylko kartą. Nie przyjmują gotówki. Łazienka w pokoju była dość stara i zurzyta.

We arrived at midday expecting to drop off our bags but our rooms were ready so we could check in and take our bags up before we headed out, the rooms were clean, the beds very comfortable with crisp white linen and a decent shower in the bathroom. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a hotel whilst visiting the City

We had booked a room only deal and my confirmation email said breakfast available at £20 each but we were charged £22

Trying to check in & they wouldn’t let me as my wife booked the room ? ( which she has done for years at other hotels through booking.com) i was suppose to be somewhere & this made me late! My wife had to send an email to confirm she had booked the room for me . Such a waste of time & has never happened before , will think twice about staying again . Thus wasn’t made clear on booking.com app when I booked it .

The cleaning. Bath was completely dirty when we arrived. Also, the towel heater was not working. No mini bar in the room.

We have stayed here so many times book standard room as prices have gone up so high it was our anniversary and upgraded us to bridge view. The room was so so small, telly kept turning its self on and off all the time, bath room clean but mould on tiles damaged mirror toilet stained never had this before we came home a day earlier as room was clostifobic roomnum 547, also tea cups weren't cleaned daily in room such a shame as always had good stays before.

I left an item at the hotel and despite numerous conversations and emails they found my item said they would return it and then ignored me ever since - I would not stay here again due to the awful aftercare - staff do not care about their guests at all. Woke us up early on day of check out as well.

El hotel perdio mi reservacion y de alli todo un desastre

L'hotel est bien placé, petit déjeuner copieux, et chambre standard spacieuse. Nous fêtions l'anniversaire de ma fille qui a eu une très belle surprise à notre arrivée à l'hotel. Merci pour le geste qui nous a touché.

Super Lage, direkt an der Tower Bridge und dem Tower of London. Wir konnten direkt vom Hotel aus zu Fuß die Themse hoch und runter wandern und alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen. Das Hotelpersonal war freundlich.

Bei 12 Etagen in der ersten Etage zu landen war schon etwas bitter. Der Blick auf die Tower Bridge war trotzdem schön. Unser Zimmer war ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Die Toilettenspülung gab irgendwann ihren Geist auf, in der Nacht vor unserer Abreise hatte unser Zimmer keinen Strom. Nach mehrmaligem Kontakt mit der Rezeption wurde uns geholfen.

Ideally located for work at Old Billingate and I enjoyed the walk to the venue. The all you can eat inclusive breakfast was a nice experience too. The car park is an important feature and the twenty four hour parking is reasonable.

The hotel is looking very tired, carpets are matted and the decor in general is sad.

Location is great. And there are cafes nearby, plus a Tesco supermarket. Right next door to the Tower, Tower Bridge, and Tower Hill underground station.

What an ugly building!!! Breakfast is expensive. Cheaper to go out into London. The elevators were a high ™ are. One was out of order, another one had a malfunctioning door that took 4 attempts to close on every floor. The other two kept passing our floor (7) by while we were waiting.

The view was amazing.

Although the room was clean enough it really needs updating especially with new carpets and USB sockets installed. As I say in it day amazing a few decades on and it could do with a bit of TLC for the amount of money you are paying.

The position of the hotel next to St Katherine Docks is perfect for a stay in London. It has beautiful views, easy access to transport and nearby cafes and restaurants. Also a lovely view of the docks.

I've stayed in this hotel many times over the years but on this visit there was no mini-bar/fridge in the room. The shower fluctuated between hot and cold. TV reception hit and miss.
