The apartment has been decorated nicely! Also the location was very convenient with an underground secure parking. All staff member have been incredibly friendly!

Recently renovated, the Esplanade offers a comfortable, clean and beautiful place to stay in Hermanus. The room was great: in a perfect state, well equipped, and with a spectacular view on the coast/ocean. Everything in the center of Hermanus is just a short walk on foot away. The private (more or less) underground parking places are very useful.
We were welcomed at the reception by Gerhardt (one of the owners) and the staff, which were very helpful and kind.
We were sad to only stay one night - it really is a place where we would have loved to stay a couple of days.

The position of the property, the friendly employees, and exceptional services. The check-out time at 11 am is also a pleasure to sleep a bit late and allow to pack up without feeling rushed. The affordability for locals makes a difference.

Newly equipped appartment with a good price/quality relation.
We went there in winter and beside a small gas oven there is no opportunity to heat, which can leave it quite cold in the night.

It is situated right opposite the ocean and has the most beautiful views. The property is very central and so we were able to walk wherever we went and explore the town.

The apartment is superb. The attention to detail is excellent, from a fully equipped kitchen, to great linen and towels, nothing is overlooked. It is truly a beautiful apartment and one of, if not the best we have ever stayed in. The staff were fantastic and very informative and communication was easy over whatsapp or just a phone call. We will most definitely return. As an added bonus there is safe secure off street parking for those with their own vehicle.

Nella prenotazione, la colazione era in struttura pagandola a parte e invece non la servono.
Non ci sono prese elettriche in bagno.
La prenotazione dichiarava una metratura molto più grande rispetto quella reale.

Prachtig ingerichte penthouse met enorm veel ruimte. Uitzicht op oceaan is ongeevenaard, en het geluid van de zee heel rustgevend. In appartement kan je makkelijk zelf koken, alles is aanwezig!
Klein minpuntje: kleine hoeveelheid wasmiddel zou handig zijn met een was/droigmachine aanwezig in penthouse…

Lage sehr gut, Frühstück war nicht eingeschlossen
Schlafzimmer ohne Tageslicht mit einem Fenster zum Gang. Badezimmer vom Schlafzimmer durch laute Schiebetür getrennt. Wenn man das Badezimmer z.B. nachts aufsucht ist dadurch das Schlafzimmer beim Öffnen hell erleuchtet - der Partner wird gestört, da die Schiebetür auch nur mit lautem Rumpeln zu öffnen ist.

Tolle Unterkunft - hier fehlt es an nichts! Direkt mit Blick auf die Bucht von Hermanus. Alles war sehr neu und gepflegt.

Staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and anything we queried and/or asked for was supplied immediately for instance there was no table or chairs out on the balcony for us to sit and eat at. The Manager was very accommodating and made sure we were satisfied with everything and other staff same.
Nothing really - we live in Australia and our cousins in Somerset West so they know Hermanus well. We just wanted a few days from all the catching up and socialising!!!
