The "Taj The Trees" is my clear favorite in Mumbai. This is not only because the Taj is fairly close to the airport but particularly because of the exceptional service quality. Regardless of whether in reception, room service, or the restaurants - the team is doing everything to make your stay an unforgettable one.
The rooms are very spacious and the view over the mangroves to the horizon is breathtaking. - A clear recommendation 👍

Der Service ist besonders hervorzuheben. Unglaublich freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.
Auch hinter den Kulissen wird perfekt gearbeitet.
Eine Buchung eines Taj Club Zimmers ist nur zu empfehlen. Mehrmals kreativ dargereichte Cocktails und kleine Gebäcke auf dem Zimmer. In der Club Lounge immer perfekt zubereitete heiße und kalte Snacks und alle Getränke, die man wünscht.
Das Essen ist beim Frühstück und in allen Restaurants des Hotels authentisch und lecker. Dazu gibt es ausgefallene und toll abgeschmeckte Cocktails.

Room service is slow - had to remind twice each time to get water etc. Expect Taj service to be more efficient.

Kamer en zwembad zijn prima
Kamer was niet schoon, haren in de badkamer. Roomservice slecht, bij bestelling eten voor de kamer zijn ze niet bekend met hun eigen menukaart. Uiteindelijk juiste eten gekregen, was erg slecht van kwaliteit en veeeel te duur. Om de hoek zit een restaurant waar ze voor een eerlijke prijs veel beter eten serveren. Vroeg tevens om een rit naar het centrum (gateway of India) dat zou 4000 roepie moeten kosten. Met uber ben je daar voor 450 roepie. De kamer en het zwembad waren verder prima.

Beautiful property and lovely amenities. Lovely welcome and rooms were very clean and luxurious.
Beautiful views of mangroves however these were let down by also viewing massive piles of rubbish stacked outside where motorcycles were parked. Staff were friendly but slow to do anything- give menus, take an order, remember to bring the order, call back from front desk etc. too much chasing up where food was at or my requests were at. Food took ages to make and wasn’t very tasty.

Breakfast options were a bit limited but overall was good as i could see there was less wastage. Food ordered in the room was delicious and maintained the right quality standards.

It is situated very close to where sewerage from most of Mumbai is apparently dumped and if one stands just outside the hotel in the evening, the stench is unbearable. I wouldn't go there again if the room was free. I know I am being unfair to the excellent staff who work there.

The location was ideal for us in VIKHROLI .
The staff especially Ms Akoh was very helpful and kind in taking care of me and arranging for a doctor while I fell sick . Thank you for everything you did for me Ms Akoh .Thank you for wiping my tears.
My son’s graduation was on the day and she immediately arranged a cake to congratulate him .
I am truly touched by all her gestures .
Ms Sonali from in room dining took good care of me too and my requests for my health issue.
Thank you for the same .

The staff of taj the trees is super courteous specially mentioning Neeraj the AGM , He kept checking on us to make sure me and my family were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Went on an extra mile to make our trip memorable, Riya in the restaurant for always serving me n my family with utmost bright smile and always being prompt for everything we liked to order , the amazing housekeeping staff that made our stay so wonderful , from the balloons to the chocolates to the amazing room cleaning . Loved our staycation.
I wish they changed the breakfast menu everyday
