This is a special house in a beautiful spot. A gorgeous creek runs along side the house and there are multiple lounging spots to enjoy the sounds of the bubbling brook and the gorgeous landscape. The host is gracious and the house is stocked with all kinds of extra amenities. The house has recently been remodeled and the level of detail is a designers dream. The photos dont do it justice. Note the hot tub is not functioning. We took a walk up love creek road and it was beautiful. I highly recommend.

Felt very unwelcome my youngest son didn't even stay the 2nd night and drove home. We got this place so my oldest son who was getting married could have a place for he and groomsmen to get changed into suits. When groomsmen came to the house Tara called and said we couldn’t have unregistered guest and not even at hotels can we have other people come in. The spa listed does not heat up and Tara said she didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars to fix it so it’s a cold tub. The night before my 24 yr old son had 3 beers at the rehearsal dinner so my nephew drove his car for him and Tara called us saying that car is not registered at the location. We explained the situation and that he was just dropping off. I guess she wanted him to drive drunk through the woods. My husband requested extra towels because my grandmother used them to clean the bathroom with and she began yelling at him saying my 87 yr old grandmother yelled at her and she is not the maid to clean up after us. Also they don’t advertise you must remove your shoes before entering the house until you get check in information 3 days before. The house is nice but not worth the price to have Tara water plants and paint rocks to watch you. We were a family getting ready for a wedding and she really made it a nightmare. Both mornings we were woken up by roosters. I did my best to not let her ruin the day for us but both my sons felt unwelcome. What a horrible experience I will never rent from her again.

Such a beautiful property! My family stayed and enjoyed the redwoods and surrounding area. The house is beautifully appointed and has anything you could think of (including snacks, coffee and wine!) I had my coffee on the deck next to the creek. Tara was such an amazing host and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely return again!

Me and my brother's family got together for Thanksgiving. We had three adults, one teen, and three children. We wanted to be able to just hang out at the house,eat, play board games and explore the area. This house was perfect for us. First, the pictures in the posting accurately represent the neat character of the house. But there were little things that stood out.. The sconces on the wall in the eating area, the stained glass window, the little fish pond with goldfish. It was so comfortable and well put together that it was a real escape from the rat race for two days. The kitchen was well appointed and we were able to comfortably cook all the meals we had planned. While we were there we explored Henry Cowell Redwoods which was maybe only 10 minutes away. I would definitely recommend for an escape to comfort.
