Beautiful hotel! Bartender and waiter are a little slow serving the drinks.

The hotel was very beautiful and very in tune with nature. Lots of mosquitoes everywhere in the room and inside the rooftop pool. Overall, I had a good stay here!

Staff is very super friendly and honest. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Rooms are clean and every detail combines with whole hotel’s theme. My wife forgot her weeding band after we checked out. She called the hotel lobby and there it was. Housekeeping lady returned the ring and receptionist gave it back to her. Besides that they were very honest with their recommendations. Fuego restaurant was also very good. Good quality food and excellent service. Great place near bioluminescence activity.

Best place ever

The esthetic of the hotel itself was amazing! The walk into pool from your patio was perfect and convenient . The beach side was clean and never too crowded, the water was absolutely beautiful & warm! The food there was pretty good, but pricey . There is a restaurant directly across from the hotel with better more authentic food and more reasonably priced , I would recommend going there instead . The Rooms were esthetically pleasing , but very small and the lighting was terrible. It only had 2 small mirrors , the only 2 full body length mirrors were found outside by the pool/ restaurant. Unfortunately the rooms always felt damp and humid & the rooms smelled awful!!!! Everytime we came back to our room it smelled like Seward gas. We tried covering all the drains with towels but it never helped! Overall the hotel was cute & the staff was friendly. Holbox is a beautiful place and recommended everyone going ! The rooms themselves could have been better . I still can’t get over the smell and how uncomfortable the beds & pillows were.

Awa is nothing short of espectacular and amazing, the staff is so friendly and attentive. We definitely plan to stay here every time we come back to Holbox. Segundo and Daniel were excellent. The room was cleaned everyday as requested and nothing beats the sunset view from Awa.

This is what I am talking about this is great service very good employees!!! Thank you will come back for sure! We arrived to the hotel from the lagoon in boat and we were received very nicely! They took our luggage up overall I recommend the try!

Phenomenal, boutique hotel! Wonderful stay, tasty designed rooms, amazing meandric pool and great sunset rooftop location. If you're looking for a boutique experience (and I mean it), with no mainstream kitsch or tv screens occupying half of the wall, look no further - you will love the experience!

The hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful. Right on the beach with great views on the rooftop. Beds are comfortable too. However the hotel has no soundproofing and almost all rooms face out over the restaurant which has loud music all day into the evening. I usually don't mind this but without soundproofing it was unbearably loud for the majority of our stay. We asked reception about this twice but it didnt really seem like they would do anything. The restaurant staff even turned the volume up afterwards! One night this went on to 3am so if you're looking for a peaceful stay this isnt the place. Its a shame because this really affected our stay in holbox with lack of sleep or any tranquility. The food and drink is also very overpriced for what you get. Overall, it's style over substance, lacks the detail that would make this a true 5* hotel and I wouldn't stay again.

I loved that the hotel was right on the beach and was within walking distance to town.

We loved loved loved our stay at Hotel Awa. The facilities are immaculate (in addition to brand new). The staff was kind and attentive, and the beach front location simply couldn’t be beat. We can’t wait until we’re able to visit again.

Nice property. The ocean view is great from the rest areas and the roof top. Beautiful location. Food in the restaurant is very good and the hotel staff. Joaquin is very helpful and his customer service is A and goes above and beyond. Jesus is very friendly as well. Restaurant across the street is very good too. Lady cleaning our room everyday was very friendly and helpful.

The property is beautiful and the location is stunning. The restaurant is excellent, all of our meals were wonderful, as is the bar. All staff were friendly, helpful, and committed to making sure our experience was excellent.

I love this property! They are brand new so be gentle and not overly picky . I get it we are there for vacation and expect everything to be perfect but like any new project. it take a little time. staff was amazing! so helpful and so nice. Food was delicious. Love the aesthetic and the beach! I have no complaints. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to be back again soon

Stayed in this 2 month old beautiful property a day after the big storm. Unfortunately the front of the hotel was destroyed. The management had many workmen working multiple hours a day to restore it to its original state. When we walked, there was no other hotel with this amount of workers. Management was on site and was very involved in the restoration. Rodrigo the manager and co owner was asking us multiple times a day if we were ok. Staff were very kind about the lack of amenities for us and made sure that we could go to the beach club next door. The hotel itself is beautiful, a great boho vibe. The pool running along the length of the property was beautiful off the bottom floor rooms. The patio and restaurant had cute lanterns hanging and had a beautiful view of the sunset at night. Rooms were large and well decorated but not a lot of places to put clothes away. Shower was stunning! The bar was beautiful but needed some shade. The drinks were so tasty. The food was the best that we had on the island, the shed was amazing!! I would definitely return!!!!!
