Nice house in a perfect location. Comfy beds. Lacking some amenities and decor a little retro but perfect place to stay for a couple of nights to explore east coast of Tassie.

Loved my stay here, very cosy cottage, great location and unsurpassable view. My only concern was difficulty in airing the property, as it was pretty musty when I arrived. Also lack of exhaust fans in kitchen and bathroom could be an issue.

This house is in a lovely position close to an idyllic beach. It has great natural light and comfortable beds. Disappointingly however, our stay was seriously let down by a lack of cleanliness and upkeep. To list the major issues: The living room did not appear to have been vacuumed, or the coffee table wiped. Glasses, crockery and cutlery were greasy and dirty and had to be washed before use. External areas were covered in cobwebs and dust. Four of the five lamps did not work (no spare bulbs), two remote controls did not work (no spare batteries), and the shower head kept falling down.

What a little gem of a property! We loved our stay here with our two kids and one of the best locations in Bicheno. Felt like our own house after a week. We loved it and would highly recommend a stay here. Can't wait to come back.

Perfect spot for our short stay in Bicheno. The house location is great as it’s a short stroll into town and the blowhole. Great views with all you need. Hope to be back again one day.

We had a wonderful few nights at Magic Spot. The house is in a great location, with a path out the back gate to a little beach. It is possible to walk into town if you are feeling energetic. The beds were comfy, the aircon warm, the couch large! Could do with a bit of a spring clean, especially all the little windows. Fly screens on all the windows would be great.

Great location, views, penguins and everything in the house to make 4 adults comfortable.

Our family of four had a wonderful time at this lovely house in Bicheno. The house was the perfect size for us. The beds were comfortable, large kitchen, lounge area with views over the water and outside deck and sitting area. Pebble beach is accessible via the back yard and the Bicheno Blow Hole is a short walk away. Would totally recommend this house.

Magic spot is indeed magic. Wonderfully located. Adequately equipped. Clean and tidy. The fact that you can walk to the beach directly from the garden gate is. Bonus. Bicheno makes a great base for exploring NE Tasmania.

Crisp fresh linen and comfortable beds . Nice outlook over the water. Easy access to town. A light and airy place.

This property was everything we expected. It was so lovely to stay somewhere so welcoming after sleeping in a campervan for a week! Highly recommended. Jacqui

Great views, very clean and comfortable in a very beautiful part of the Tasmanian East Coast. The Freycinet Peninsula and Wineglass Bay are very accessible from Bicheno

Great clean property in nice sunny location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautiful, clean and in a great location. The beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely weekend relaxing here. We loved finding the walkway to the beach and it was a highlight to spend time at the beach so close by. Communication with the host was excellent

The name says it all. Great location with stunning water view and 1 min walk to lovely protected beach. Quality furnishings and decore with everything supplied for a very comfortable holiday. Spotlessly clean. Our favourite Tassie accomodation.

What a scenic spot and a comfortable house! We enjoyed 3 nights here and loved walking through the back gate and down over the rocks. The water is beautifully clear and refreshing. The house had all we needed, the only thing we didn't like was very little opportunity to get cool breezes through the house. Only tiny windows were openable.

Cottage was very comfortable, cosy, with extremely comfortable beds. Lovely view of the water from the back of the property, with access through the back gate down to the beaches. Within walking distance to town, seafood outlets, blowhole and beaches. Would stay here again.

Everything was as advertised and we had a very enjoyable holiday.

What an amazing house. The views are so calming. You feel like you are on holidays as soon as you walk in the door. Highly recommend. This is our second stay!

Awesome place

Nice place to stay for a few nights. Close to town- walking distance- and lovely quiet neighborhood. Tranquil setting in back yard overlooking the ocean. Lovely bath that we used several times.

This is our third stay at this lovely property. Feels like a home away from home, brilliant location right near the blowhole and can walk in to town. We will be back for a fourth stay asap!

I would really like to give this property 5 stars. The location is lovely — nice ocean views, very close to small beach, whisper quiet. Generous amenities are provided, the beds are comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. However, it was impossible to get fresh air into the house. The back door has no flyscreen. The screen on the front door has a huge gap, making it ineffective. Three tiny windows in the living room have screens and can be opened. All other windows, including in the bedrooms, are either painted shut or have no screens. For a beach holiday in summer, this was a major discomfort. For a winter holiday, it would be a delightful place to stay.
