This Parkside Villa is spacious, comfortable, very clean and well stocked. The location is great to get to Heron Park, the Sanctuary and the beach. We enjoyed our stay in this villa even on rainy days - the screened in porch is a great hangout. Jim and Mary (the hosts) are communicative and helpful. They provided an informative digital guidebook, timely communication regarding accessing the property and were very responsive to our questions. We will be staying here again.

Loved this property! Very clean, nicely furnished, and kitchen had everything we needed and more! The porch was perfect for morning views and watching the alligator swim around the pond! I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Our family enjoyed the location and features of this rental property. The location was great, a quick ride or walk to the beach. Lots of high tech features and supplies. The home was spotless and well stocked with cooking utensils and basic supplies. We enjoyed the view of the lagoon and wildlife. Extras such as beach towels, chairs and even a fishing pole were appreciated.

We have been coming to Kiawah for 12 years and this was one of our best villas. The location is perfect, just 5 mins from the beach (boardwalk 22) and a short walk to the Sanctuary for ice cream. The Villa is updated and feels very clean. The technology all works well so the kids entertainment was great. We all loved the screened porch and watching the gators, turtles and jumping fish in the lagoon. Check in and communication with Mary and Jim was fantastic. We will be back. Thx!

We loved our stay. The unit is very well appointed, comfortable, and in great condition. The short walk to the beach was easy with 3 kids + gear. We enjoyed the screened in porch for meals overlooking the lagoon. Super close to Night Heron park. Owners were super helpful with info provided in advance and very responsive to questions during stay. We look forward to visiting again.

This is our second time staying in the Parkside Villa's area, and I have to say, this has to be one of the nicest ones we've seen. The inside is newly updated and very nicely decorated. All of the appliances and furniture are super nice and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and enjoy your stay. Another really cool bonus with this property are all of the awesome smart-home additions (Apple TV in all rooms, Sonos speakers in living room, smart thermostats, etc...very cool!). We practically lived on the covered porch and really enjoyed viewing the alligators and other wildlife. The proximity to the beach is excellent! It's literally less than 5 minutes on a bike and you're there! If you listen closely in the evenings, you can even hear the ocean from the back porch. The owners were super responsive and helpful. This really is a super nice property that is clean, updated, and close to all of the family-friendly amenities that our family has come to enjoy at Kiawah. Definitely keeping this one in our favorites list for a future visit!

I have been coming to Kiawah for about 15 years. This is the nicest unit I have ever had! It is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with family.

Excellent accommodations. The deck and porch provided great viewing of the lagoon & alligators. Enjoyed biking with the grandkids and the activities at Heron Park. Great fun for everyone. Next time I'll bring my golf clubs.

The villa was perfect for my daughter, her husband and two small sons. There was an extra room for their babysitter so that they could be free to enjoy all the wedding festivities!!! The best thing about this villa were the owners….they could not have been more accommodating and helpful. They helped make our stay so easy! We will definitely book with them again!!!

What a fantastic experience at this VRBO in Kiawah. The hosts were communicative and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Kiawah. The condo was clean, beautiful and in a great location. Enjoyed every minute.

Everyone in our group agreed that this was the perfect place for our stay. The condo is beautiful, clean and quiet. The kitchen has everything necessary to cook any meal. There is no shortage of dinnerware or glassware. The views were beautiful. We were arriving later than expected and the owners checked in with us and turned the lights on remotely. We had a glitch with the internet and later with the TV and everything was handled promptly and efficiently. We are already trying to figure out a time when we can return.

This villa was beautiful with everything we needed plus some. A five minute walk from the beach, really responsive home owners and lots of room, we’ll definitely return!

We had such a great fall break staying here. Our kids loved the setup, especially the separate bedroom area downstairs (great for teens/tweens). We loved the screened in porch and the dock...saw many alligators from the unit. Very short walk to the beach. Rode bikes all over the island and finally saw the dophins strand feeding!

Fantastic and spacious townhome which you can tell has been recently remodeled. Kitchen area is perfect for cooking and plenty of space to entertain and have meals. The outdoor screened porch and the dock are perfect spots to relax at the end of the day after hitting the beach, which is only a 5 minute walk away if that. Super convenient location!

My family has been staying at this property for at least 15 years. While we have always loved the unit and location we have been blown away by the amazing upgrades this unit has undergone since Mary & Jim purchased the property. I can’t speak highly enough of their kindness and responsiveness. The unit has been upgraded to include the finest appliances, gorgeous countertops and home furnishings. My parents winter here, and so we stay here at least twice a year. It is truly our home away from home. This summer we brought our grandchildren for the first time so that we can pass down the love of Kiawah on to the next generation. Thank you to the Stevenson’s for another opportunity to make memories with our family in such a special spot!

Fantastic villa. Beautifully decorated and updated. The villa is a “smart” villa and is smarter than I was. Things are well connected and the hosts have thought of everything. Little details do shine through and made it a most pleasurable stay.

Hands down the best VRBO we have stayed in. Loved the app that the owner sent far enough in advance to help make plans for our stay there. They have thought of everything. The place is in a great location for walking to the beach and yet was so quiet. The kitchen had everything for making gourmet meals but most especially appreciated the Keurig with the milk frother. Owner was so easy to contact for questions prior to stay and gave recommendations for dining (48 Wine Bar was a hit!) Would love to return to Kiawah and stay here again!

Mary & Jim's property is so welcoming. From the initial entrance onto the island you are met with natures beauty. From the occasional deer crossing, to low hanging tree-lined roadways, peace and tranquility is beckoning. The property is nestled in a bed of forestry and sits on a quiet pond. Upon entry, the property is exceptionally clean--w/no hidden dust bunnies/cobwebs in corners. I love that the owners didn't go overboard with the "expected coastal decor." The bright & airy property literally feels like home with the right amount of amenities. Beds were comfortable, towels white, bright and fluffy. All forms of technology/streaming apps available at your finger tips. My girlfriends and I loved the screened in porch off the living room as well as the open deck off downstairs bedroom overlooking the pond. In addition, Mary was easy to reach and quick to respond to inquiries/questions that arouse--that iron situation😉. My girlfriends and I have definitely adopted this property and location as an annual, heck bi-annual/tri-annual, vacation destination. Thank you Mary & Jim for an amazing stay and opportunity to experience this naturally beautiful hideaway in the low country!!!
