The property is in a perfect location for exploring the Peak District, as well as Sheffield. It was well-equipped, comfortable and good facilities.

Overall our stay, (there were 4 adults), was great. Had a couple of little problems, the internet was quite poor the majority of the time. Also, the roller blind at the back door fell down during our first nights stay. I spoke to one of the owners regarding the slow internet and he said that sometimes happens especially as it is in the country. Mentioned the blind and he asked me if I wanted him to come and fix it. It wasn't that big of a problem so we left it as it was. I thought the owner was very helpful, offering to come over to mend the blind and gave me suggestions as to what to do regarding the slow internet. I would certainly recommend this bungalow. The gardens are beautifully looked after and although there are a few things that could do with updating, it was a great stay.

Administration all clear, sensible and friendly. Accommodation very comfortable and as advertised. Interesting gardens!

The owner was helpful and very speedy with replies to queries. Property was very clean, obviously taken appropriate precautions in relation to Covid - so confident about staying in the property. The view from the sitting room across the moors was lovely- changing with the time of day and weather. lots of walking locally as well as a range of countryside to visit with a short car ride.

Everything we needed was provided along with a warm welcome. The location is perfect for walkers. We were able to go out to watch sunset above Ladybower and stroll back again.

The house was so clean and fresh throughout. Amazing views and lovely location. Really friendly and easy to deal with owners. Everything we needed was there! Kitchen fully loaded for self catering too. Our only thought for improvement would be the internet - we didn’t care of course! But the children did. Other than that it was one of the most loveliest places we have stayed. 100% will stay again, thank you!

Kommen und gleich wie zu Hause fühlen: Der Derwent View Bungalow ist liebevoll eingerichtet, die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet, die Duschen und das Bad sind gut gemacht, alles macht einen gepflegten Eindruck. Der Ausblick aus dem großen Wohnzimmerfenster, der Küche und einem der Schlafzimmer in das Tal des Derwent River und auf die dahinter liegenden Berge ist umwerfend. Zwei der Schlafzimmer liegen zur Rückseite des Hauses und bieten auch empfindlichen Gästen die nötige Ruhe vor der vorbeiführenden Straße. Im Sommer kann man schön im Garten hinter dem Haus sitzen. Das Haus bietet die besten Voraussetzungen für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke an Laura!

The bungalow was lovely, very clean and homely and we had a very enjoyable stay. Two very small issues, the frying pans need replacing and the spatula is too small and not suitable for non stick pans, lots of mirrors but could not plug hair dryers in where the mirrors are, these are not complaints only advice as we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend Derwent View as a holiday home in a beautiful area.
