Lobby area was beautiful, very welcoming and cozy with large fire place and bar and sitting area. Restaurant food and drink very good. Room was clean and well appointed. Room temp was nice considering it was chilly out. Good location, close to Biltmore estate nd other venues. Would stay again

Still feeling the effects, after Hurricane Helena, the hotel was doing well to adjust, to business, with the still imposed "Water restriction" and "Displaced local families". All the staff members displayed very positive attitudes and were always helpful.
The breakfast staff was very friendly and sociable. When asked about they were doing, they would share, all the while still trying to be positive and very professional.

This was a very relaxing stay, especially with the spa available nearby. We stayed five days and had wine nights on the patio with our friends and looked forward to using the hot tub, steam room and pools. I could easily walk from our room to the outdoor pool area and enjoyed sitting in the shade on a lounge chair by the water. Would love to do it all over again.

The hotel is dated and the smell of smoke was very strong on the wing I stayed in as well as in the room. It wasn’t so bad that I canceled, but I think if I return to the area I will stay somewhere else.

Property is dated, doors are in bad shape with bad patio door locks coming out of the wall- things are spread out with poor sinage on amentias etc. Servers were good (but aggressive at buffet breakfast). Phones in rooms did not work, should remove if broken. No service to rooms, and patios need power wash. Would have been nice to get welcome email with overview of ammenties before stay

Based on the hotel pictures , I chose the hotel so we could sit outside and relax and that was not an option on our patio. The place was mostly empty and huge. No reason they couldn’t put guests on the second floor for better views. As others have mentioned, the walls are truly paper thin. The primary pool is full of children and not relaxing if you’re looking for that. The other pool appears open to the public and also full of children (probably even more). The grounds appear to be nice but there wasn’t really a way to enjoy them and relax. This may be a great place for kids but for adults looking for a relaxing getaway outside the city, likely not a good option.

Property was nice-the rooms could use some help-like microwave, exhaust fan in bathroom so fire alarm doesn’t get activated when u take a shower, and better internet

Staff was not very friendly, and the prices online need to be updated to match the breakfast buffet prices. We were told a different price then what was listed online.

Loved the stay here. Only obstacle is parking. I like to be able to come and go as I please, but couldn’t easily do so here.

The staff is very helpful and kind. I am very allergic to cigarettes smoke and the manager went above and way beyond trying to find me a room that did not smell of smoke or funky from being cleaned from pets. This guys was so very kind. The rooms are comfortable and the hotel is well maintained. It is and older property, but it has been updated with new carpets.

No vending machines worked on any floor. Sliding doors are hard to close,stairway and our room smelled like a wet dog. It's like they spend a ton of money on the nice lobby and forgot about updating the rooms and halways.

What a wonderful hotel. The staff is friendly. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner but the hotel was absolutely stunning. Will definitely stay there again.

Homey yet chic lodge-style resort with extensive amenities and activities. A lot of partying going on late night, but not too obtrusive. Will be back.
