First off the hotel was disgusting. I had a dead roach in the room. The first room the whole bottom of the door was kicked in. You could see the outside in see into my room. They gave me a second room. The door was the same way. Then I believe someone was in the room. Because the security latch across the door was not allowing me into the room. So went back down to the office. They gave me a third room. The door was the same way it had no security lock across the top and the room was disgusting. It had a dead roach in it? The room had not been cleaned. I will never stay there again and I do not recommend it for anyone.

Imagine everything you don't want a hotel room to have, this one pretty much had it all. Stains on the sheets, floor, around the sink, etc. Fridge didn't work. Pillows were hard pancakes. Toilet wasn't connected to the floor all the way and tipped forward. Faucet for the shower was installed backwards (so hot=cold, cold=hot). Roaches. Partner had to shuffle past police talking to someone right outside of our door.
I get that budget motels aren't going to be the Ritz, but this one was particularly bad and Motel 6 is a chain I use a lot, none have ever been this bad.
The one good thing I'll add is that the man I checked in with was kind and professional.

For what I paid, it was fine.
It was clean.
It was convenient.
It was cheaper than 99% of the places in the area.
Was it perfect? No. Although, it was worth the money I paid.
The management makes a serious effort to keep the place nice.
You can tell.
It ain’t the Ritz, but you’re not paying for the Ritz!
You’re paying for a clean place to sleep for a night or two.
That’s what I got.

When I arrived by car, I parked next to someone using drugs, so I was concerned about staying here. But the service was good at check-in and I saw at least 16 cameras on their security monitor. The room was plain and the accessible bathroom was functional. I slept well, despite the high traffic area with motorcycles. Overall, it was an acceptable stay in Columbus.

Hotel is next to train tracks which you heard trains going by constantly during the day plus the area around the hotel had construction going on and was surrounded by dirty vacant lots and there were some stains on one of the walls in my room

We had a non-smoking room, but it stank to high heaven, and had cigarette burns on the sheets. Wanted to cancel for the second night, but the staff was not helpful at all. A very miserable joint.

Absolutely horrible service. Had to argue with housekeeping and the front office just to get an extra towel and a roll of toilet paper. There were Cockroaches in the room. Had to leave!

The room had zero frills, and the door to the outside, while secure, wasn’t soundproof, so we got noise from the night…though it wasn’t so bad after 11pm. The smoke alarm in our room was beeping every other minute when we arrived, but thankfully that stopped after 30 mins or so. The water pressure in the shower was good, but bring your own shampoo and toiletries for sure! But everything was clean and we woke up refreshed and ready to continue our roadtrip!

This place had horrible interior,nasty shower, TV had problems then the remote didn't work. All motel 6 I stay at have at least coffee in the morning, not this one. I picked pay at hotel and hotels.com took it out of my account so I am not happy. Beware of this location.
