Wasn’t able to book breakfast on the original reservation so rang up and was told it’s all fine and I could add breakfast for £10 pp at check in. I was charged £14 pp and when I questioned this I was told the price has ‘just gone up because of a pancake machine!’. On their own website they only state £12 pp as a last resort.
Make sure you do your homework and double check, as you could be fleeced like me.
Room was stone cold and heating switched off with no instructions as outside doors opposite room were open and fire doors held open with fire extinguisher.
Breakfast was awful. It’s the cheapest ingredients and terrible presentation.
I have stayed many times before and it was always a nice hotel. Don’t be fooled by the ‘refurbishment’, everything about this place is now cheap, except the price tag!

Really nice hotel, unfortunately it was being renovated so alot of ut wasnt accessible. Shower in our room had taps missing

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff will he even better when the construction eork is complete but updated rooms and hotel still work very well

The room was nice but the hotel is for trades teams mostly and the staff were not very friendly or welcoming.

The property was really nice, however they double booked us for a room so then we had to sleep in a twin room instead of the one we booked, furthermore there was no WiFi on site despite it being stated that there is, when I called reception in the evening the guy basically said ‘tough’. The design and rooms are really nice and the pool and sauna/steam rooms are good. Given the room situation and the WiFi not being available, I’d say this minuses points. Overall I would say the stay was okay at best due to this. Once they have fixed their issues they will be a great place to stay.

Hotel undergoing renovations but we went on a Sunday so not working. Room was lovely- spacious clean and comfortable. Food was amazing.
Would definitely stay again.

I dont understand how in this day and age third world countries have a better wifi connection than this hotel. Wifi connected and disconnected numerous times. Couldnt even visit any websites let alone stream a video. No reception for phone calls in the room unless you go outside.

Hotel is going through a refurb, room was spot on, which is the right way round, and the old dated areas became a source of amusement rather than frustration, great staff, would happily book again (although I did lose my jumper)

Also, quite noisy air con and given no details as to how to adjust or turn it off!
Room refurb is superb but I won't stay here again!
